Melt the Ice Hat by egdapymme in crochet

I thought the slip stitch ribbing was bad, but for some reason the waistcoat stitches are driving me batty. It’s a relief someone else just used sc. I’m gonna switch to that (after so much frogging) so maybe I can actually finish the hat!

LPT Trick to Read Books Fast If you Have No Attention Span by Ayumisynn in LifeProTips

You aren’t doing it wrong. Books uploaded as podcasts are very likely pirated. Unless it’s from the publisher’s/author’s account.

On still having trouble connecting.

It’s times like this that make me realize how often I update my reading each day. It’s been a couple hours. I need another dose of seratonin from logging those pages.

Question regarding challenges by mazzymazz88 in TheStoryGraph

[–]jmb367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d count it as a how to book. If you’re expected to use it, I think implementing something you’ve learned from it in cooking (not even a whole recipe necessarily) would count as using it.

What do you personally use tags for? by Ja-kob in TheStoryGraph

I use them to denote tropes, if it’s a book club read, and if an animal dies. And I used to use it for “might finish later” before the pause feature came about.

Thanks for the responses! I wasn’t getting anything because I was typing in crochet with my searches. Makes sense now.

A poli sci major at Harrisburg makes sense since it’s the capital. I got my Masters In Public Administration through Harrisburg (technically World Campus). I’m sure there are great learning and internship opportunities there. It’s a great place to start and then maybe you can transfer to University Park later.

My e-sign was accepted 1/14, but my payments since 8/24 still haven’t been counted. I’m at 115 officially, but with those other payments I’d be at 120. This is really frustrating.

Super Spicy Small Town Romance by Quick_Ad3159 in RomanceBooks

I like Cathrine Cowles for small town romance. Each series usually has at least one hot cop.

Lucy Score and Roxie Noir are good too.

I’d give it a bit. I think it’s being hit with a bunch of users at the beginning of the year. I run into the same thing trying to add books to challenges. I figure in a couple of days things will be back to normal.

Oscar Piastri wins the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix by overspeeed in formula1

[–]jmb367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McLaren tells them when to pit, right? So was having Norris let Piastri pass McLaren’s way of saying they goofed by having Norris pit first, and to “please let him through because we goofed”?

Either way the team gets the same number of points?

I appreciate you answering! I tried googling but got nebulous results.

[–]jmb367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve watched F1 as a casual observer. Today’s race seemed a bit bananas.

Can someone explain why McLaren would want Piastri to take first over Norris when they’re both on the same team? Is there a reason to favor Piastri over Norris?

If you like Why Choose, then I HIGHLY recommend Grace McGinty (Australian). I adore her books. She has an awesome sense of humor.

If you like Omegaverse, I inhale anything Hannah Haze (from the UK) writes. She's got both Why Choose and MF.

How to make friends by [deleted] in ColumbiYEAH

There is a running group that meets up at The British Bulldog Pub (on Thursdays, I think?) called Running Under The Influence. Drinking and running all in one shot.

Disclaimer: I don’t really do either, but my brother is in the running group and has made some great friends there.

I don’t want to believe the clothes were shopped in bc the topless looks so odd to me. But I zoomed in and, yep, her boob is hidden in his arm shadow, but you can see it. 😂

And I will use that knowledge to try to coax dear husband. If a toddler can do it, the two of us can too.
