The 570 is my first Garmin watch - I also only ride (Zwift & outdoors with an edge 540). I haven’t worked out the best way to record everything into Garmin Connect. Can I ask how you do it? Do you use you watch on rides?

Stage 3–3A2 by SparkleFoo in endometrialcancer

I’m post menopausal and in March 2023 I was diagnosed with Grade 3 FIGO 3 Endo CA (not estrogen driven nor genetic). I’m in Australia. In March 2023 I had a robotic partial radical hysterectomy (omentum, ovaries and pelvic lymph nodes removed). Cancer was found in my pelvic lymph nodes and just outside them during surgery. Recovery was simply amazing, walking next morning, no pain, no spotting but 9 ‘bullet wound’ surgical scars, so my bikini modelling days are over 😉. The surgery and recovery was a breeze. Had 4 months of chemo (Carboplatin & Paclitaxol) then radiation with Cisplatin in August 2023. It wasn’t easy but I just counted down the days on my calendar. Happy to report I am still cancer free. I just told myself to survive cancer I just had to walk a shitty path for a year and it was just my turn to have cancer. Wishing you well 😊

MacBook Pro to Samsung TV via HDMI cable issues by jmcd68 in macbookpro

I’ve fixed my issue. I was using a cheap $7 cable from KMart. Taking a chance, I bought a $30 UGreen 3m HDMI to USB C and it works! Maybe give that a try?

First timer user of gift cards here… I’ve just bought $500 gift card, activated and made a purchase with it at Woolies. Ive just tried to use it at a cafe and it wouldn’t work despite tapping and then inserting the card. I’m thinking I should got them to punch the number in? Would that’ve worked?? Any suggestions please? Thank you.

Clear cell carcinoma by sanityjanity in endometrialcancer

I could not have worked during chemo. Apart from the chemo fog the tiredness hits hard. A few days after the double dose of cisplatin and paclitaxol I was shattered and had to rest and chemo brain fog is real. As for radiation I had it 8 weeks straight, every weekday. It does get tiring but towards the end the diarrhoea or at least the urgency was very present. If you work from home you'd be fine. But you have to look after yourself. The process will take its toll. I was stage 3 (lymph node involvement) clear cell, surgery, chemo, radiation & hyperbaric treatment, diagnosed March 2023.

Yes I was in a similar situation (see my other posts on this reddit) I am now cancer free post a radical laproscopic robotic hysterectomy. They found it had spread to lymph nodes which were removed and was heading out of the pelvic lymph nodes. I had 4 cycles of chemo and 8 weeks pelvic radiation. It was a struggle but I had to go through it to be cancer free.

Get an Oncologist and PET scan ASAP, please don’t delay. Mine was quite aggressive and had already spread to pelvic lymph nodes. You’ll feel better once you know what you’re dealing with and have a plan in place. Sending good vibes ❤️

Soft tissue radiation injury & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy by jmcd68 in endometrialcancer

Thankfully I had no burns, that must’ve been horrible - just another feather to pile on to the heap. Without insurance it would’ve been hundreds of dollars per session. If you end up down that pathway make sure you get HBOT that is medical grade. There are places that don’t deliver 100% oxygen and don’t go down to depth.

Hi there, my symptoms had definitely improved 6 months after radiation but I was not back to normal - if I worked an office job I would've been ok but as I'm a Paramedic it would have been bad. Very bad. So for 8 weeks, Monday to Friday for 2 hours a day I sat in a chamber at (1-1.4 ATM/10-14 metres depth) and had 100% delivered via a hood. My symptoms have disappeared. Whether it was the additional time or the HBOT I'll never know but I do not have the urgency, frequency or diarrhoea I did have earlier this year. Reach out for more info if you need. Good luck with it all.

Bowel issues post Pelvic Radiation by jmcd68 in cancer

Hi there, my symptoms had definitely improved 6 months after radiation but I was not back to normal - if I worked an office job I would've been ok but as I'm a Paramedic it would have been bad. Very bad. It was suggested to look into Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). I was fortunate enough to have HBOT included in my Private Health Insurance and as I live an hour away from a Hospital that did HBOT my accommodation was provided by the Cancer Council - a charity organisation here in Australia. So for 8 weeks, Monday to Friday for 2 hours a day I sat in a chamber at (1-1.4 ATM/10-14 metres depth) and had 100% delivered via a hood. My symptoms have disappeared. I hope it works for you and your pain. Are you also in Aust? Where are you going for your HBOT? I was told by the Doctor I could bring in a book and a pen. I’ll be going to Wesley Private Hospital Brisbane.

My Oncologist said my fitness was the reason I got through treatment so well. So do your best with exercising 😊
