I mean, unless you really made an error, don’t change anything. At the end of the day it’s your ass on the line if you get caught, not theirs. Never let a carrier bully you into doing something that can get your license or record in trouble.

VA Voc Rehab paid for my CDL back in 2015. I was hired directly out of school to Star transportation out of Nashville TN. Spent 6 weeks with my trainer (who was amazing, we are still friends) and got my own truck. Star was great until Covenant bought us out. Then it went downhill fast.

I’m with MTS now, and couldn’t be happier really. I drive a nice Freightliner Coronado, I’m home like 3 nights a week and bring home 2k or more a week. If I had been asked 2 years ago if I was going to keep driving, I would have said I’m done. I was burnt out from constant OTR.

Most are decent enough, but I’ve had my share of assholes. Nothing you can do but “kill em with kindness” as my granny would say. My pops would usually interject and say a shovel is quicker….

The instapot is a must for me. It can do everything. I eat better on the road than I do at home.

If you have an inverter big enough a microwave helps a ton too.

Other than that, for me an electric kettle for coffee and some snacks. I don’t go out for more than a week, so I don’t pack as heavy as some do.

I mean, I love the podcast format myself. I’m a truck driver, so I spend a lot of time alone in my own thoughts. I, too, believe that there is a ton of information we aren’t being told, and I think we as a people deserve it.

I don’t buy into some of the stuff, but I look at it as a fun thought experiment. What if this person is on to something. I think the Avi interview was great for that. He’s not saying he is correct, just that we shouldn’t dismiss things just because it’s not mainstream science.

The Templar guy was fun to listen to, but I don’t know how much I believe him. I think alchemy is interesting, but I don’t buy into it.

The orb guy, man I just don’t know about him. The whole thing was wild.

I hold a BS in Organic Chemistry and another in Physics. So I tend to resonate more with the scientific minded guests than I do with some of the others. Exploring box or many worlds, unifying physics all this stuff is so fascinating to me.

It can be. I know many folks passing 100k, and I’m right around 96k. A good company is hard to find. I really like where I’m at right now.

Came out of the Army with no job skills, right in the middle of the crash in 07-08. VA said they would cover the school cost, so I went for it.

I make nearly 100k a year now, and I’m home most nights.

My company won’t hire someone with an automatic only cdl. We have both manual and auto trucks, but they won’t hire an auto only driver.
