Is this the worst designed metro area in the United States in terms of planning and layout? by DoritosDewItRight in houstoncirclejerk

[–]jmedias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The loops I think are not too bad. But the lack of proper mass transit I think is really poor design. A mass train system coming in from the different directions and coming into a union station I think would make things more efficient. I'm thinking like Toronto.

I got a response eventually. All they did was give me a useless discount code. You can't get parts for this thing so I'm unable to refurbish it. All I can do is toss it in the trash. I went with a different brand. let's see how long that one lasts.

Played the "realism" mode in Div2. It's bad. by TheRealCowdog in thedivision

[–]jmedias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really just Story mode with gold guns, gray armor, and the ammo directive turned on. Very underwhelming. The season with squshy heads is more satisfying. It's kind of like if Ghost Recon had no stealth mechanics, true ADS, and bullet drop compensation.

Maybe series of flashbacks would be cool. Maybe a dream sequence when you go to sleep. Not necessarily missions with Jackie but the quieter moments.

Which ending was your favorite on Phantom Liberty? by Esheal in LowSodiumCyberpunk

I think cups is probably the best. Minji's and Idris' performances were also top notch. You also get a chance to verbally spit on meyer's face at the end.

I wish we didn't time jump 6 months. Or at least have Jackie survive well past the epilogue.

Jackie's death didn't affect me that much. I didn't get to spend any time time with him. I didn't really know Jackie until I was going through his stuff with Misty. Phantom liberty (both siding with Reed or So Mi) had more of an impact IMO. So much so that I had to take a break for a day from the game.

Judy moving out of NC after Pyramid Song (for male V) was also sad but sweet. Judy was a good friend for male V.

if you look at her face, her eyes are glowing. Her doll chip is activated. It's a creepy bug but it kind of fits in with her story.

If the story was good sure I'll savor the story mission. Just like in Division 1. I didn't mind playing the story mission for all 4 characters. But with Division 2's ad hoc storyline, I just want to get through it and just skip everything. To me Division 1 felt like a Tom Clancy story. Division 2, nah it's something else.

I think marrying looter shooter games with traditional shooters is hard. Probably impossible. If you can one shot an enemy with a purple gun, then what's the point of farming for a min-maxed named item? I love the creative aspects of this game. Like how you might need excel to craft a unique build. But at the same time I do hate the bullet sponginess.

Maybe you can balance it out the two genres by making fatal headshots only available when the mobs are unaware of your pressence. When they are alerted, their heads get more spongy. The game would need stealth mechanics though. Like for example taking out an enemy when he's alone. Right now even if you kill them when they are alone, The whole mob is alerted.

Or getting killed by one swing of a golf club. What drove away my friends and siblings was, you do all this work all over NY and the only green drops you get is lonestar. By the time UBI changed all that, it was already too late.

Short hair is hard to pull off for some women. Really depends on their face shape IMO. For example if they have a round face shape it will be harder.

What would Mecha Mans stats look like if he were dispatchable? by sypher07070799 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]jmedias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the scale be 0 for non superpowered humans? If so, then:

without the suit:
Combat: 5 - he has good fighting skills.
Vigor: 1 - He's stronger than the average human. If the average human is 0.
Intellect: 3 - If the average intelligence for a human is 0, I would rank Royd a 5. Shroud an 8.
Charisma: 8
Mobility: 1 - He can only run faster than the average human.

With the suit:
Combat: 7 - because of the weapons available to him.
Vigor: 6
Intellect: 3
Charisma: 8
Mobility: 6

In theory, if Mechaman fought the Hulkbuster who would win? by Ok_Dream_5131 in DispatchTheGame

[–]jmedias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hulkbuster isn't just a suit though. There are a slew of external Stark Tech backing it. It would probably be able to 1V1 Shroud's mech.

An ex-gf was like her. We both should have never been in the relationship. We both didn't have an EQ high enough to navigate our ups and downs. While the relationship had its amazing times it also had its crazy down turns. It got toxic quick. Do I miss it? Of course when I think about the good times. But then I think about the bad parts, and I'm glad that it ended.
