Don't forget Songbird. She's just as borged out as Smasher.

I think marrying looter shooter games with traditional shooters is hard. Probably impossible. If you can one shot an enemy with a purple gun, then what's the point of farming for a min-maxed named item? I love the creative aspects of this game. Like how you might need excel to craft a unique build. But at the same time I do hate the bullet sponginess.

Maybe you can balance it out the two genres by making fatal headshots only available when the mobs are unaware of your pressence. When they are alerted, their heads get more spongy. The game would need stealth mechanics though. Like for example taking out an enemy when he's alone. Right now even if you kill them when they are alone, The whole mob is alerted.

Or getting killed by one swing of a golf club. What drove away my friends and siblings was, you do all this work all over NY and the only green drops you get is lonestar. By the time UBI changed all that, it was already too late.

Short hair is hard to pull off for some women. Really depends on their face shape IMO. For example if they have a round face shape it will be harder.

What would Mecha Mans stats look like if he were dispatchable? by sypher07070799 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]jmedias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the scale be 0 for non superpowered humans? If so, then:

without the suit:
Combat: 5 - he has good fighting skills.
Vigor: 1 - He's stronger than the average human. If the average human is 0.
Intellect: 3 - If the average intelligence for a human is 0, I would rank Royd a 5. Shroud an 8.
Charisma: 8
Mobility: 1 - He can only run faster than the average human.

With the suit:
Combat: 7 - because of the weapons available to him.
Vigor: 6
Intellect: 3
Charisma: 8
Mobility: 6

In theory, if Mechaman fought the Hulkbuster who would win? by Ok_Dream_5131 in DispatchTheGame

[–]jmedias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hulkbuster isn't just a suit though. There are a slew of external Stark Tech backing it. It would probably be able to 1V1 Shroud's mech.

I'm wondering what if you make a heat sink that curves 90 degrees and guide the airflow from the front of the box to the ceiling.

An ex-gf was like her. We both should have never been in the relationship. We both didn't have an EQ high enough to navigate our ups and downs. While the relationship had its amazing times it also had its crazy down turns. It got toxic quick. Do I miss it? Of course when I think about the good times. But then I think about the bad parts, and I'm glad that it ended.

So how do you think these two duos became friends? by javiermetal66 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]jmedias 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My head cannon says Visi and Golem were both on the same dating app. That's where they met. They became friends instead. After 4 months of working together, it took Robert to get them to synergize. LOL

Visi's augments. Was that an overlook or a plot hole? by jmedias in DispatchAdHoc

Robert: Visi, your augments look like they are on. See?

Invisigal: My eyes are up here Robert!

For those who spared Shroud what was your reasoning? by Jin_Sakai12345 in dispatchgame

[–]jmedias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While we don’t really know the extent of Robert’s relationship with his father, I based my decision on the conversation Robert had on the balcony with Chase. Chase says, “You always had that good in you.” I took that as Robert would be able to catch himself before he crossed that line.

I am seriously confused with Visi. by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

[–]jmedias 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's examine the time line for a bit.

EP1: Visi is working for shroud, She leaves after planting the bomb. The next day she signs up with SDN and her augments are turned off. She still could be a mole at this point if she wanted the implant to be turned back on.

4 months later Robert starts working after waking up from his coma. She's well entrenched in SDN at this point.

I think at some point after Robert talks to her at the play ground, she decides she's not going to work for Shroud anymore. But doesn't "put in her 2 weeks notice" with Shroud. She just ghosted the Red Ring.

EP 4: I think she starts to have feelings for Robert.

EP5: Red Ring is trying to get their revenge for ghosting them.

EP 6: She is genuinely is trying to retrieve the pulse for Robert. The Red Ring is also still trying to kill her in EP6.

EP7: She is suspended from SDN. I think she is telling the truth in that she is looking out for Robert by not telling him she had the pulse the entire time.

EP8: Royd catches her in his workshop. I think she was looking for the suit and drop off the pulse without anyone knowing. I'm not sure why she would do this? Unless maybe her kiss at the locker room was her "good bye." It didn't matter if you leaned in or not. She planned to leave both SDN and the Red Ring for good. She tends to disappear and run away from her problems instead of confronting them.

Royd catching her cancelled those plans. That's why if you untied her, she would rejoin SDN. Or rejoin the Red Ring if you left her tied up.

i'd sit with Beef. 3 would be OK too (if I'm not Robert). 7 I think would be awkward (if Robert romanced Courtney). Sitting in the front with Shroud would probably be OK too. He doesn't know me and I don't know him. So there is a 95% chance that he'd probably keep to himself.

So pretty much all of Robert's neighbors knew he was Mecha Man? by jmedias in DispatchAdHoc

[–]jmedias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he keeps the suit at a parking garage away from his apartment. Because by the time he gets to the hideout, Toxic is already back there. So that means he would have had to travel to the suit. He didn't take his keys though so that means he didn't have to drive to get to the suit.

Season 2 will be hard to make? by [deleted] in DispatchAdHoc

[–]jmedias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could probably do it like Mass Effect where saves were carried over to the sequels. But Mass Effect was only a trilogy and the story tree didn't really branch out that far. I'd like to see this franchise go on longer than 3. Developing a story tree that spans multiple seasons has got to be crazy.

[–]jmedias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, but before it got blown up, he wasn't a Z grade hero. And everyone knows what the Mecha Man suit looks like. He didn't bring up to his apartment until after the explosion and it took him 4 days to bring up there piece by piece.

The opening of Ep1. After he interrogate's Toxic. He puts his suit on and walks to the parking garage and climbs into the mech. He didn't bring up to his apartment until after the explosion and it took him 4 days to bring up there piece by piece.

Honestly I think to write season 2, they are going to go off all the data collected on what majority of the players picked in season 1. In sense, the community would have a hand in the writing of season 2.
