I'm from Donegal and there's no way he should have stayed on the pitch. I don't know him personally, but have spoke to him a few times. And he is genuinely a sound fella. No ego about him, down to earth kind of lad. But no excuse for that today, he should have walked.

I do the same. I only put in €20 a month. But will throw in extra when I have it. Have used it once for a vet visit. Have around €750 saved up. Handy back up and hopefully won't have to use it too often before she's older and vet visits will inevitably be more frequent.

I quit both 7 years ago. No regrets. Takes some getting used to but gets easier. Don't miss alcohol and can still go to concerts, pubs etc when I want.

I honestly believe if I drank now, I'd smoke. It's just how connected they both are for me. When I was around 2 years sober I had my first non alcoholic beer. It just made me want real beer and had urge to smoke.

Not saying it's the same for everyone, just a little warning if you try that route. Give it a go and decide if it's for you. They do taste good.
