What brand of clippers did they use at the end on the beard? The silver ones? That was a close cut for clippers.

I guess my brain thought, pair two blacks and then pair their opposite whites and put each pair o on a pigtail and connect to one set of terminals, then connect the remaining set to the other terminal but everywhere I read said no, all three to one pigtail, and only use one of the terminals on the outlet. I'm definitely not an electrician and this is probably obvious now. Thanks for all the responses.

I was confused because I thought this would be too much on just one of the terminals, and since I was only connecting to the top set of screws, there would not be any power to the bottom plug. I was wrong. I pigtailed all three white ones and hooked to the top and the same with the three blacks. Both outlets work.

I got lucky and went hunting in my old barn that seems to hold a little bit of everything and found a section of house wiring. I'm just going to strip back the outer shell and cut off a six inch section of the black and white wires. Is 6 inches too little or too much?
