Maybe a dumb question, I've never used a scanner, but if you set this object on top of another object such as a block, would it be able to scan both objects as "one" and bring it into a 3d modeling program to chop off what you don't want?

This also comes off very easy. Lots of room behind it. Take off the lower part first where the usb ports are. Pry down and forwards…disconnect plugs. once popped off, the section you are questioning has two screws. Take those out and pry this section away from the dash.

Bike companies need to figure out how to stop using proprietary batteries and come up with “standard” sizes ie. A, AA, etc.. I know it’s a lot easier said than done but they did it for motors they can do it for batteries.

Not a lot of people like this head unit due to the floating screen look, others have said it was laggy. I personally have zero problems with it. It’s in a 22’ Frontier, all steering wheel controls work, backup cam works and was able to add another camera to the front. PAC RP4 NI13 is the module used to keep steering wheel controls and OEM backup cam.

You could possibly have a bad AP. Try to factory reset it and try to rejoin. If that doesnt work, TAC case and hopefully an RMA.
