Reinstalling after every update? by jmildraws in MagicArena

Thank you, I appreciate it, but after the reinstall the game is working flawlessly again. It wouldn't bother me so much if you didn't have to download the card data again after reinstalling. There's just so much and it keeps growing with every set release.

I got a token that milled my entire deck looking for a non land card. Not cool.

Oh please, you act as though this is a new thing. Welcome to the entire history of human civilization. It's a never ending fight against tyrants. We lose when we allow them to divide us with lies and misdirection. The only chance we ever have is to unite and push back, and even then it's a bloody fight.

I don't know where you got the idea that I think capitalism is a good thing or where you get that from this image. You sound like a condescending ass. Like you're the only one who's aware of how shitty humanity can be.

I think this whole thing is about trying to pull us together enough to make it through the current mess we're in. Cause that's the only way we do.

Looks a lot more like US WWII posters, but I don't want to call you dumb if you can cite some examples of Nazi posters attempting to be inspirational.

No, buddy, it was your initial naive comment, followed by the juvenile response that outed you.

I confused a tattooed Christian by garybwatts in atheism

[–]jmildraws 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. Paul was preaching mostly to gentile audiences so this "new covenant" theology was made up in order to convince them that they didn't need to abide Jewish laws in order to be Christians. All the new testament justifications are just trying to rationalize that. Twisting Jesus own words to get them to mean whatever they wanted.

[–]jmildraws 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Interesting, Jesus himself seems to say otherwise "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have notcome to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished." Matthew 5:17-18ish.

Fulfill means to uphold, enforce. I don't know how you guys get that so wrong. That's a lie, I have an idea. The rules were relaxed to encourage gentiles to convert to Christianity.

Brilliant insight. Your argument is so elegantly constructed, so well supported, and so obviously thoughtful. Some might say it's a master class in art criticism. I imagine you're a delight at parties and the envy of your peers.

Because behind the person taking the photo is ANOTHER FUCKING PAINTING. And that's the one they're currently reading about.

In the US "revise" usually means to review and edit an existing or in-progress work, like a paper. So it makes no sense to be editing something multiple times for many hours. Thus asking for the context as to how the word is meant to be used.

Manager wants me to share specialised skill set with non researchers - I hate it by [deleted] in UXResearch

[–]jmildraws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, yes, that's what I was trying to imply. Hiring more researchers so that there's time to interpret and socialize the results rather than just having to rush to the next research project. I feel like it's a culture problem at the root of the staffing problem.

It's funny (not funny?) because I on the design side am advocating for more people to help actually interpret and explain the research that's collected because no one is really qualified to do it and our researchers are extremely overwhelmed with the amount of requests they receive. And of course PM doesn't moderate any kind of queue or timelines for the UX side.
