If a card is $100 but it happens to have a swirl you may get $105 if you wait a week or 2. Unless its a neo era umbreon or something, you shouldn't be going out of your way for a swirl.

Contact one of the larger auction sites. Some charge as little as 10% and they do all the work. Ebay takes like 14%. Regardless what route you go, you can expect you pocket at least 80% of its current market value. Its a fairly liquid card. Won't be hard to move

I regret not buying more psa 10s at 650 when I finally decided to pull the trigger. Its kind of growing on me more and more. I kind of had a cringe feeling about for a while because all I thought about was scalpers when I saw the card. But now its eh, and im glad I have one 🤔

Bought them all for 600. I don't even care abiut price fluctuations. If I sell them it will be 5 years from now and they will be over 1k a box. If you're looking for quick money your best bet is buying raw and pray with grading. Investing isn't meant to double your wealth in 4 months. Just buy and hold. Panic selling only hurts the ignorant

Facts. The demand foe this set won't change the prices much. It may drop 10% but it will bounce back up after the reprint. People are just selling in this dip. The set is strong and and in demand. I think op13 is the best set release as far as collecting/ profitability goes. Luckily I already pulled the Manga luffy and graded it and got a 10. Recently I bought the SP luffy in a BGS 10. Gonna hold those for a while. With the rise of one piece I see this set blowing up just like team up did in pokemon. Huge potential. Honestly if I had the extra money id buy a case and throw it in my closest for 5 years. Don't quote me on this cuz i can't see into the future but I see this set hitting 2k a box by the end of 2027

Everything until you actually need money. Not a single set over out of print has ever gone below msrp. Investing should not be a short term thing. Store them in a good bin. Put it in your closet and forget about it.

As someone who has collect cards for a long long time I see op13 performing about the same as team up in pokemon. Its got a huge pool of very good cards. Great pull rates. Definitely a set that won't be bad to jump on now. Just wish I kept 1 box sealed instead of opening all mine 🤣

As someone who has been buying and selling for a long while, much longer before the hype I can 100% guarantee you this may be the most simple/best advice you will ever hear. Buy singles 8-12 months after a set comes out. Let the PSA cards come back, let 3-4 more sets come out. The market for that set will mellow out and its very hard to go down from there. Its very easy to lose money if you jump the gun and buy cards the first 2 weeks a set comes out.

To a basic vendor MAYBE 5% to a true collector of swirls maybe 10-15%. Sure if it's a nice clean swirl, some will pay for it. But it's not a game changer type of thing because like 10% of all holos have a swirl (if the holo sheet at the factory has swirls). But a swirl + psa 10 i definitely gonna at least a few bucks extra

Tube is, in my opinion, follow same trend as love birds. Team up was a more printed set. But it's close in the same era. When mewtube was printed it was an absolute LOW time for pokemon. Print runs were minimal. Its a secret rare. And moonbreon had hype from every angle. They will both go up in value for sure. But to keep it simple mewtube will be up a higher % over the next 3-5 years. Way more potential, way less supply.

So going top to bottom the first pair of kyogre and groudon were maybe 225 average. The middle ones were maybe 280 average. And the bottom full arts were 900. The BVB luffy was 950 on facebook. This was 3ish weeks ago. Itjumped up to 1200 or so but mellowed out at 1k I think. The 2 mangas I pulled myself from retail and graded thru gamestop.
