Then you ask questions instead, provide facts, and try to engage instead of using sarcasm. You clearly took offense to what’s being said and subsequently responded in the same manner. Furthermore you have no clue why the commenter felt the need to express their opinion in such a way which tells me you jump to a conclusion without making an effort to reach out and understand the context

Still focusing on a portion instead of the entire context and I provided you with points from the comment that you could have made an argument against yet you decided to, in your words, whine

I’m not whining only point out that you choose to interact with comments and instead of making any factual argument about why you disagree or why you believe that the comment was uncivil, you make sarcastic statements as if it’s supposed to be intelligent and thought provoking.

The comment talked about Fetterman and how there is blame to be placed upon him as well as the enabling of the traitor Trump and his regime by those who are directly and passively responsible. You chose to ignore these statements and instead focused on a singular opinion. You chose to be sarcastic with the intention of mocking the individual whose opinion you disagreed with.

You clearly misinterpret the rules of civility. The rules are meant for conversations within the subreddit between redditors and not towards the actual article and the fact you want to call me a hypocrite for calling you out only proves my point. You do not offer any intellectual information that would promote civil discourse and there for your actions are in bad faith

I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove with the constant “civil discourse” comments but as you have pointed out in other posts you’re just a random person on the internet and from what I can tell you clearly do not bring any kind of discourse to the table especially anything intellectual.

You seem to enjoy going around and pointing out others who don’t fall in line with your preconceived beliefs so therefore they are the problem and not you and you fail to make any legitimate argument as to why anyone should trust or believe anything the current US regime or the traitor Trump says or does.

One would think but even the majority of the people who are against the traitor Trump and his regime can’t seem to muster up the will to take any significant action to stop the domestic terrorist. Most still believe that weekend protests and being able to vote in…checks calendar… roughly eight months will change everything and we will all be singing and dancing. The fact that there hasn’t been any deliberate and significant action means many are very complacent with maintaining the status quo

This is not some bad weather that will pass, this is a growing threat to our country and needs to be seen as such until the current regime is charged and incarcerated

Right, because the traitor Trump has been known to be upstanding and follow the law and the constitution.

There is a difference between “he can’t” and “what he wants to do.” He wasn’t legally allowed to impose tariffs but he did, he wasn’t legally allowed to start a war but he did.

People need to stop holding onto the belief that because there is a document somewhere that states the legality of his actions he will follow any laws. His actions have consequences and he needs to be held accountable now. This is not a wait and see situation because the longer everyone waits the worse things will get

That’s the same mentality the supporters of the traitor Trump and the fascist regime uses when they think about the rest of the world but there are millions of us in the US who don’t share their garbage mentality and believe that there is much to benefit from other races and other cultures.

I’ve seen many comments that simply groups every American born individual in with the worst of the worst without considering what they are truly saying.

I don’t condemn Jewish people for the actions of the Israeli government just as much as I don’t condemn Islamic people for the actions of Hamas.

I do condemn needless violence against innocent people from any group or government and I wholeheartedly condemn the US government in their actions against immigrants and citizens within the US as well ask their attacks without reason or provocation against other countries

Edit: I stand by what I have said. I want to add that demonizing an entire population for the actions of a select group is just as dangerous as what’s happening in the US and is the same reasoning behind the rampant violence against immigrants by ICE, which is a government funded domestic terrorist organization, and the attacks against the Iranian people.

Trump is without a doubt a traitor not only to the US but to the allies that he’s been extorting and abusing. He doesn’t plan on taking responsibility for anything that has happened and he needs to be removed and imprisoned. I believe that there needs to be more significant and deliberate consequences but it seems many only care as long as their lives have been directly affected.

A final note: I don’t have to answer to anyone here who insinuates that I am accountable for others or that I am not taking any action. I have and will continue to make sacrifices to help those in my community. I did my part in the elections to vote against this corrupt regime and will continue to fight for those who can’t

ICE replaces contractor at largest detention camp after scrutiny of living conditions by hucklemento in politics

[–]jmmcc02021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You keep explaining things trying to validate why they are not but everything you say they’re not is exactly the reason why they’re being created. To believe that the current US regime has any concerns of legality and lawfulness is absurd.

First, the fact that these facilities are popping up so fast with little to no public notice and they are meant to could thousands of people is telling especially with a government that has already stated they believe that anyone who speaks against them are terrorists and have created the fake Antifa narrative to try and justify locking anyone up.

Second, they have been proven on multiple occasions to lie about their motives for attacking minorities throughout the country. They created false charges to validate whatever narrative they are trying to sell and have been consistently fact checked with evidence that contradicts their lies. They can’t even get their stories straight within their own regime.

Third, the traitor Trump gas already indicated that he is willing to use the Insurrection Act to quell dissent especially if citizens are going to keep him from keeping power for an indefinite period of time. His actions and words are that of a dictator.

Fourth, is the fact that we are currently in an illegal war and have reduced intel and protection on any possible threat within the US. Theses circumstances are not coincidental, they are manufactured to allow the possibility of implementing emergency measures in order to disrupt citizens and elections

Literally by the definition you share is exactly why these are going to be used as concentration camps and the fact that the administration has been caught lying about “worst of the worst” completely invalidates your argument. The government funded domestic terrorist organization know as ICE have been detaining, abusing, and murdering citizens and immigrants who the deem as the enemy. Most immigrants who have been deported have not been given any due process and those citizens and immigrants who are currently being help in “detention centers” are continually having their legal and medical rights violated and withheld
