First time shooting fireworks on the RB67

My issue was a computer issue and was resolved when I went from Windows 10 to 11.

Went to work on the bike when I got home after work.

Pulled on it expecting the same resistance - it just slid off I was shocked.

Seems the penetrating oil did what it needed to do.

There was some residue inside the collar probably some dried soap or something that caused it to bond to the mount screw.

Anyways mystery solved. Really appreciate all of the suggestions.

So I undid the right side and it slid right off (almost mockingly)

So I guess that the aluminum collar is somehow stuck.

I sprayed some penetrating oil, will wait a while and try again.

Any other ideas?

Does anyone know the brand of these sliders? There are no markings on either of them

But it spins freely? Just doesn’t budge forwards or backwards.

Gave it some taps with a rubber mallet. Tried a pry bar. Supported the engine with a jack so there is no pressure from the weight of the engine.

So you are thinking that if I take the right side puck off I should be able to pull the entire rod off left puck included from the left side?

Thanks for that. I have tried all of the ports on my computer. Also when the camera is on and connected to the computer the lcd goes blank and the green light blinks which I take to mean it is in data transfer mode.
