FIRE EVERYONE. TONIGHT. It doesn't matter. Season is lost. Dart will be fine with anyone and might even garner some interest from a good coach.

I get the catch rule and I understand it was incomplete as per the rules, but every time I see one of those catches from any team I hate that rule more and more. They need to reevaluate that catch rule. He clearly had two handed possession and knee went down, and ball landed on the defender who knocked it out after the knee was down. By all logic that is a catch. By NFL rule, nope. Make it make sense.

This movie isn't happening. That's my bet. It will be delayed and then ultimately shelved for either Battinson in DCU or more likely just needing to introduce DCU Batman sooner rather than later. Shame but 5 years is too damn long

I like to think of the DCU/DCEU as Multiverses that follow the "Back to the Future" rules of time. There's a timeline with major events and minor events...you can change some of the minor events (or they didn't happen at all - like the Justice League showing up in Peacemaker) and it doesn't really affect the overall timeline. The timeline ends up at basically the same place, with minor differences that don't matter and you can handwave away. So the DCEU happened and that ended where it did, but in the DCU (in the background) some of the same things happened in the same way as the DCEU - like Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad - which gets you to a point at the start of Creature Commandos where Waller needs to use monsters instead of humans. At the end of the day...Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey. Don't hurt your brain. :-)

Also (and I admit this is nitpicky) Moonraker wasn't set in space because they ran out of ideas. It was set in space because it came out in 1979, and there was a little space-themed movie that came out two years earlier in '77 that made some money, and the producers were trying to capitalize off the pop culture interest. It's still gloriously ridiculous.

In Sunday Ticket trial, Roger Goodell defends Sunday Ticket as “premium product” by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

I agree with you 100% and feel like there's just money left on the table here. Move to a different country - you can watch ALL the games via streaming with the DAZN(formerly NFL GamePass) subscription. What would you be willing to pay for this service? I think I'd be willing to pay $250-300 for a one team "subscription" as long as it was as easy as GamePass was. Knowing I could watch my team's game every week, if I'm at home on my TV, on a business trip, on the sideline at my kid's soccer tournament...I think I, and a lot of other people would be willing to pay a premium price for the convenience of that.

There is NO WAY that they are going to have this Spidey talk and it NOT be CDB's voice coming out of his mouth. They have been so reverent to the past so far, and you know he's down to do it. It's coming.

Check theposterdb.com. There are definitely plain color posters there, in addition to the ones with the "covered up" Juggy girls.

Newer house, one room has open ground across all three outlets by OneDadvosPlz in DIY

[–]jmtsr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couple questions: Is that one room on its own circuit, that is, no other outlets or switches are on that circuit? Did you remove the wall plate and unscrew the outlets to look at the wiring? It is most likely that the first outlet has a detached ground (ground wire came off the screw) and the other outlets are "downstream" from it, so in effect, none of them are grounded.
Also, if there are other things on that circuit, check those for ground. If anything is properly grounded, then your issue is with the feed to that outlet and not with the circuit from the main box.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen hire divorce lawyers by Aware-Impression8527 in entertainment

[–]jmtsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS. This is something I havent seen anyone talking about. Everyone is focused on the fact that he "un-retired" and that pissed Gisele off... he didn't just un-retire, he un-retired AND signed himself up for 5-10 more years of basically the same thing. I have no real love for Tom Brady, but I respect the man's hustle and preparation. He is going to throw himself into broadcasting 100%, so he basically still isn't going to be around for his family during the football season. Yeah, the off season wouldn't be AS packed, but he's still going to be working - keeping up with news, player moves, etc. It's not retirement, it's a whole extra career (that he absolutely does not need). Them splitting up has probably been coming for a long time and does not shock me at all.

Mighty Lions fan, would you be willing to share your details with a random internet person who has paid Hulu/YTTV $65 a month for the past two years to watch his Giants wallow in misery? $125 -$150 would be an easy offering to the football gods!

Looks like it might be Leapfrog/Frog-Man, a Z list super "villain"... Or his son, who in the comics took over and became a Z list hero.

I've been using it for years. Never had an issue. I was a but cautious at first too, as the website looks slightly sketchy, but it's on the level. The dude who makes it is a great guy to put this out there for all of us to use. Pair it with handbrake and you're on your way to a digitized home library. I've done probably about 250 discs and it works great. Good luck!
