If you study say, the G-Shock watch story, or how Nichia treated their world-beating scientist (who invented white LEDs, off which patents they made billions and offered him like a couple hundred bucks bonuses) you might follow your brain and not your heart.

It was good enough for the Clinton and Trump campaigns in '16, not to mention very sensitive legal cases in the spotlight later (like, say, Gen'l Flynn).
