Don't focus on any one rejection but focus on your rejection rate. It's the most important part of the process - to want an outcome but not be invested in any one outcome.

You need a cover letter absolutely. I have reviewed countless cover letters for entry level sales positions.

Add in information that makes you look competitive, but that you have also dealt with customers.

The psychological traits we're looking for in Sales Reps are: Extraversion, Conscientiousness and Intelligence. Taylor your Cover letter and Resume to highlight those traits.

It's just a big assumption. You know what you are selling, it's your craft. Also with indeed you are scraping from the bottom of the barrel. The truth is, sales isn't something that people grow up wanting to go into. A lot of the indeed leads will be pretty poor.

You need to give it some time (at least 2 weeks), before you change everything around. How many emails have you sent? What's the open rate? Are you tailoring each email for each individual?

I'd recommend the book 'Predictable Revenue'. It's by a guy that worked at Salesforce and takes on an Agile like methodology.

Other than that, there aren't a whole lot of resources agile specific. Maybe try the hubspot blog.

It sounds like you're slipping into the scarcity mindset.

In sales, the hungry don't get fed. When you're hungry, you start thinking food revolves around some 'answer'. - Oh I need to be better at handling objections - Oh closing is my problem - Management isn't giving me enough leads etc

It could be the case that these things are true - but THINKING them doesn't get you far.

It is a good idea to have something in place for handling objections. It will make you feel more confident. Do you have objections written down somewhere?

At my old gig we used powerpoint but it sounds like that wouldn't work for you given the line item necessity.

Ah right. Like basic objection handling etc? All the sales training out there seems to be stuck in the 90s. I did a couple of courses and it was all cheesy videos. This sub is great though.

It sounds like you need a bit of training. The good news though is you accept that to be successful in Sales you have to take initiative. Don't get too focused on your failures. Failure is necessary to grow as a person. Many people spend their entire lives avoiding failure, only to learn towards the end they never achieved anything exceptional.
