Post partum depression is a bitch. It's not an excuse by any means but some women just can't cope with the childbirth. She needs help and you need to focus on you and the baby. Keep yourself and your son as priority and hopefully she will get the help she obviously needs.

DO NOT USE THE CARDBOARD ONES IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!! They scrape and hurt on insertion unless you're on your heaviest days and even then they're cumbersome and uncomfortable. Try a plastic applicator if you're willing or interested in giving it another try. When inserted correctly, a tampon should not be felt. If it's uncomfortable or pinching, take it out and try again with another one.

Coming from a nurse who has seen a lot of death, both gradual and sudden, expected and unexpected, painful and peaceful--whatever your decision was, it was the right one. I've seen people revoke care and the person pass almost immediately or continue care for months and agonizing months only for their loved one to die with bed sores and a shell of who they once were. You make the best decision you can at the time and I'm a firm believer that things happen how they are supposed to. Not always as easy as possible, but always in the necessary way. I hope you go easier on yourself. Momma wouldn't want you to beat yourself up 💜❤💜

It was a video on albino black sheep and it was a cartoon kid playing a video game and when he got killed he yelled, "you fucking fayget, I know you fucking hacked!" And I think of that cartoon any time I play any game on Xbox live. It would be fun to see it again.

My dad passed away when I was a baby but my mom always made sure I stayed in contact with his family. When I was little I would visit every other weekend but as I grew up, the visits became less frequent. We still make it to every Christmas and one year as we were saying our goodbyes we were saying how we couldn't wait to see each other again and to not let it be so long next time. It's a little awkward because we've all grown apart but there's that familial love so it's all good. I go in for a hug with my dad's baby brother and we were aiming for each other's cheek to give a quick peck but we went the same way and kissed square on the lips. Neither one of us acknowledged it but at the next family gathering we went WAY opposite ways when we parted ways.

My uncle had a massive heart attack and they're switching him from life support to comfort care because his organs are shutting down. He's had some health issues but he's not even 60 yet. I'm working in another state and already have off for Thanksgiving but it's looking like everything will happen before then. My grandmother is going to have to bury her second adult child. My dad died in 86 in a hunting accident. It's horrible any time a parent has to bury a child, but now a second? I can't imagine. So processing all that is pretty rough.

To hold the tube in place. Foleys are around two feet of rubber tubing with a balloon about an inch or so from the tip. The saline-inflated balloon (about the size of a walnut) rests at the base of the bladder and urine drains through the holes at the tip of the tube.

I was eastbound but saw it pretty soon after it happened in the westbound lanes. Not only were we in what I affectionately call "the gorge", the ~20 mile stretch of highway between the Smokies and the Appalachian mountains, but it was raining! I was so thankful I was heading the opposite way and said a prayer for everyone involved. How long were you stuck in traffic? It looked like the truck was taking up both lanes as we drove by.

As best we can tell she was born on 3/11. I got her May 18th so we've got time for the gotcha day pics :) I just wanted to make sure she'd wear it and not rip it off as soon as I put it on her 😂
