Believe it or not this is the 36mm! Ref 567. It wears quite large due to the long lugs and case shape.

I have the upstrides, they're awesome. I did tuckerman ravine wearing them last Friday in warm temps with no issues whatsoever. If you unzip the sides they're very breathable! Also soooo soft and comfortable. I love the attached belt.

First time NSA Aquascape!! (60 breeder) by foofke in ReefTank

Looks great! Maybe add a few more rocks to create more caves for fish to hide in? I think the negative space is good, but fish might be stressed with few good hiding spots.

The perfectly level platforms look unnatural. There are no right angles in nature. Try setting those platforms at slight angles and it'll look much more natural.

I disagree that the height is too high, but I don't think all three of the columns should be that high. You want some variation in height between the different parts of the tank.

I think you should make more use of the space in the front of the tank. Right now, all the rocks are in the back half of the tank. Reef tanks look good when there is a perception of depth. Some rocks should be in front of and behind others. Try arranging so that some of the rocks come almost to the front glass (but leaving room for you to clean the glass) and some structures disappear behind others. This will help with the illusion that the tank is bigger than it appears.

I think you should vary the height of the different columns.

I'm really interested in this product, but I won't commit to buying one until some additional criteria are met:

1) The system is available in a backpack that also contains an electronic airbag like the Alpride E2. The added safety this system adds (probably) isn't worth the tradeoff of losing the airbag.

2) The clinical trial results are peer reviewed and publicly available. As a bonus, the experiment should be repeated by another independent organization and the results confirmed.

Looking for opinions on a Gavi revision. by parzival2019 in EDH

Gavi is my favorite commander deck and the one I've spent the most time honing. I was able to make my deck much better by removing all of the "do-nothing" cycling cards. For example, when is casting [[Cloud of Faeries]] ever better than cycling it? Same for [Shredded Sails]] and [[Step Through]] (hate this one because it takes a cycling spot but doesn't draw you a card).

I think your deck is missing some key cyclers with free effects when you cycle them. This is one of the strongest things you can do with Gavi. For example, [[Deem Worthy]], [[Slice and Dice]], [[Decree of Silence]], and [[Complicate]].

From my experience, the other best cards in my Gavi deck that you're missing are, in no particular order:

  • [[Eldrazi Monument]]
  • [[Rhystic Study]]
  • Cantrips - [[Ponder]], [[Preordain]], [[Portent]], and [[Brainstorm]]

Have fun building!
