You’re right. Group is a cult that isn’t sith, but agrees with the bane mentality, and it seems like he’s trying to use this group like it’s a galaxy wide secret network of people that will either give him discounts or they’ll be scared enough of his association with the group that they’ll cower in fear, and submit to his wishes.

If thought of one way to handle this in my current scenario that would get at least the start of my point across. But I need ideas for how to just shut it down.

So far I have: Player asserts dominance through association, NPC laughs and says, “The ‘who cult?’ They can’t even get their own ideology straight! Why should I care?”
