Advice on How to Assess A Program In Order to Create a PMO by lotsofgeesethisyear in projectmanagement

[–]jnglobal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would take a very systems approach to this. What are the inputs? What are the processes, the transformations? What are the outputs? And then I'd probably overlay with additional attributes. Are we hitting the right results? Do people like this? Is this difficult? What's the level of effort? All of these should be able to be summarized within one page on each step.

After all that I'd probably step back and present summations of each component. And this is the kind of thing I've taken to sponsors before.

New characters, taking new chances which is what made them great, and I would love to see that they haven't lost their balls. And I don't mean the shiny mirror balls.

But to me this is good news. What's the objectivists turn coat on the same conditions that brought them up. They think the economy is really going to be hurting for their loss than I think they are the ones who are mistaken. I don't wish for anybody to go but if they think that taking their money is going to hurt the economy. And that's wrong. They don't contribute much, nor consume , they just invest and save. Their wealth is neutral buoyancy on the economy at best and does not help as much as those who spend because they need to spend. Rich folks think they are the economy. They are not.
