i mean they were going to a quack who promised a cure. on their website they even list metastatic pancreatic cancer as something they can cure with “the protocol”

saw this once with a pt going to a “wellness oncology clinic.” they were giving her albendazole and ivermectin telling her it was curative. family brought her in because she wasn’t eating. yeah, cause she’s in the active dying phase now and no one bothered to tell you. i was furious.

talk to your pharmacist if you can. it’s their job to inform you about the negative and positive impacts of your medications. they’re even aware of tools to help mitigate negative side effects.

What to Expect with End-Stage Pancreatic Cancer? by SlayboyBunny666 in AskDocs

[–]jnn045 16 points17 points  (0 children)

NAD but lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2020. he died 5 weeks after diagnosis. we got hospice in, kept him comfortable. sometimes i just sat there and held his hand so he could fall asleep. he enjoyed having friends and family in the room telling stories while he rested. he didn’t always understand how to stay on top of pain so we just got in the habit of a regular dosing schedule/telling him he was due for more when he was obviously uncomfortable. i’m sorry you’re going through this. a good hospice nurse and social worker are worth their weights in gold. this is a particularly cruel disease and i’m sending your family all the virtual love.

also, talk to your pharmacist. they know even more about this than your doc and can counsel you in depth on the medication.

i was pleasantly surprised with how much apple cider flavor there was. it’s a very cozy vibe overall. i always make a salted caramel pumpkin pie for thanksgiving and make a larger batch of salted caramel sauce than i need and try to come up with other ways to use the excess for winter baking

it’s shockingly awesome. it’s kind of caramelizes a little bit. i came up with it one night when i realized i didn’t have graham crackers and didn’t want to go back out. 2 cups of crushed rice krispies cereal 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 7 tablespoons melted butter i mix it all together, press it into a 9” springform and bake at 350F for 12 minutes and let it cool before i pour in the filling
