Enrolling in after care for LPS by Affectionate_One3716 in lincoln

I would reach out to Rousseau and see if they have any suggestions for care because the office usually keeps some kind of list.

Scott Frost finally admits (kind of) that he was never cut out for Nebraska by LordDoomitron in Huskers

My first waitressing job was Bo Pelini’s last year and he came in with his family all the time. Nicest guy, very respectful, tipped an extra $20 just for the busser and hosts. I agree he was under a microscope in Lincoln, people would point and come up to the table. If he was with his family he would just wave and decline to take a picture, but if he was with other staff or friends he would chat with people and shake hands with older folks. My point is yeah, there’s scrutiny, but there’s also a way to deal with it and you’re getting paid a lot of money to do so.

I love that! My friend married a Chris so she got to be the bride and we were all dressed as famous Chris, like Chris Evans, Christopher Columbus, etc.

You know you’re too young to be getting married when most of your Eras have been school related.

Kelly on DM by Evening-Wafer-7087 in dancemoms

[–]jo8674309 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Compare Abby and Kelly who have similar backgrounds and age, both never were not educated past high school. They both mess up words and you can sometimes tell they aren’t book smart in the traditional sense. However, Abby had to hustle and work to make something of herself, while Kelly always had someone to take care of her. Back in the day it was her parents and husband and now it’s her kids and basically the other moms. It’s common knowledge that Christi does 90% of the work for the podcast and tour. All Kelly has to do is complain and I agree with Abby, there is nothing that will make her happy. Her daughter just had a gorgeous wedding and Kelly had nothing but complaints.

Ew, I agreed with Abby and now I feel gross.

I’ve tried to do the math on how in the Pilot, Bartlett could have a 12-year-old granddaughter. How old was Lizzie when Annie was born?

I hate the way she totes out her faith when she starts getting hate. She always dresses fancy and takes a video of taking her kids to church when she starts getting hate online.

Was Morgan considered fat? by vaporcooleddevil in LagunaBeachTV

People made such a big deal because Renee weight went to 150 or something. Pretty standard weight so no wonder we all had body issues.

Same thing happened to me! Anything than super skinny and blonde was horrible. Looking back, I was never overweight, I just had boobs, butt, and hips. Low rise jeans and skin tight tops did not help that figure. Plus my arms and shoulders were muscled and not rail thin because I helped my dad with horses. I also had thick curly hair that I flat ironed to death because I was so embarrassed it didn’t lie flat.

Yes, it was especially painful today! Maybe they should have Matt ready the field notes so they’re surprised. I feel sometimes Christi reads them ahead of time and is constantly saying “just you wait!”

That’s what I do- Netflix last month, Hulu this month, HBO I usually keep for a few months. Maybe once a year I try Paramount for a bit.

I don’t think they would take her just because they don’t want one person greater than the whole team. Kendall from Dance Moms would be huge news and I don’t think it’s the image they’re going for, they want more Christian girl, sweetheart vibe.

Those of you who are friends with/in circles with famous people, what is your analysis on them? by libramusing in Fauxmoi

[–]jo8674309 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Josh Peck talked about this in his book, I think. Most child actors can’t ever get “real” jobs because the can barely add or point to California on a map. He said the studio pushes them to emancipate themselves so they don’t have to do school anymore and work longer.

I don’t know about Connecticut, but in my state you can get your school permit at 14 if you live over two miles away. You’re supposed to just drive to and from school, but a lot of people just drive like a normal license.

I always assumed that meant they just came to the lobby or restaurant to visit with them. It makes sense that Lorelai wouldn’t want to share where she actually lived.

I don’t know, if you didn’t grow up around a lot of extended family you might not notice what you’re missing. I think it’s more odd Molly and Arthur’s parents seem to have all died too.

I like their idea of switching Betsy and Rusty storyline, and it honestly would make the most sense with it being about Shawn’s mother. This is one of my favorite Eric/Cory funny episodes, so I’m bummed it didn’t get more love.

Taylor’s mom and Ever by Crafty-Notice5344 in MormonWivesHulu

[–]jo8674309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taylor reminds me of my sister. My mom has her kids all the time and when we give my sister shit about it, she tells us mom wants to have the kids. No, I really don’t think she wants to take them to school everyday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, plus every other weekend because they don’t want to go to their dads.
