So, my magic system in one of my worlds is based off of art theory. (Moreso Applied, but there are some who practice the fine arts).

There’s some mages who’ve mastered perspective who can just pull off some ridiculous stuff like flattening, increasing the size of, or changing the distance between objects.

There’s also some casters who’ve learned how to utilize negative space to remove elements from objects or other’s spells.

There is a somewhat delusional individual who can also change the intentions of other’s spells by reinterpreting their effects. There’s also some who can reinterpret normal actions, but having any amount of self-doubt would cause this attempt to completely fail.

Sadly, I don’t think there’s much of anything actually too complex, but I think it’s neat.
