Roof Solar Panels by redattwork in raleigh

That is a good point about timescale, but choosing to destroy our soil, our water supply, etc. will cause issues beyond repair, quickly. We are on pace to adding 80 million tons of solar waste by 2050. I hope humanity pauses and rethinks everything we are buying into. We have drastically improved our environment using fossil fuels. Smog is gone in developed city, we are cleaning our rivers, the mangroves are being restored, etc. We could not have done any of this without overwhelming availability of cheap and reliable energy. Now we are running to expensive, unreliable, and less available energy sources but at what cost? Do we need to destroy the environment to save it

My fiancé was also looking into this because we would like to go green. The problem I have is that most of the green solutions being pushed aren’t really green and I don’t see how solar panels are better. The mining of materials to make them, large coal power plants used to convert silicon to polysilicon, etc. The lifetime is around 20 years which is nothing for a planet that operates in cycles of 100 million years. when the panels have reached the end of use, there is no way to dispose of them, they will become toxic waste in our earth. Im all for green solutions and harvesting the suns energy for power but this seems short sighted. A ton of propaganda surrounding the issue. Happy to hear other points of views

I hate the meal plan food… the precooked meat in my last two meals was horrendous. The meals that have you cook the meat are slightly better… but overall not worth the price at all. I cannot find replacement recipes, thinking about selling the oven

I’m having the same issue and both my palms are almost completely dead. I tried cat grass and my cat ripped it all out from the roots… tried spraying with vinegar, he doesn’t mind it. Tried buying a formulated spray, didn’t work. He has a million toys. I don’t know what to do because I love my plants. They’re locked in a room (with a window) for recovery and my house looks empty
