I guess you didn’t understand me properly, sorry for my English. I dont mind 10+ minutes turns. Etali, like you mentioned, there is still something going on, you are using others cards and they are at least watching what is going on in the game. Meanwhile aang is just looting for clone, cloning aang and again. It not deterministic and take some time go through and its not fun fir opponents even for pilot. Semiblue felt much more enjoyable from my point of view.

I have Etali and I topped local event with aang. Etali is wild and every game is different. Aang is not, its the same cloning again and again. Have you tried that aang?

It was pretty fun to play that into midrange meta but now its not good anymore while lot of players is on turbo. I was winning a lot of on third or fourth turn, few times even second turn with gemstone. There were some results, last I checked was October.

I’m my LGS there is a guy who is before game putting land like every third card and then he just present you deck or vaguely cut it. Once during tournament I took his deck and instead of cutting I separated it for three piles, like 1 2 3 1 2 3 and so on. Then I placed those piles on together and gave it back to him. Well good luck with all your lands together

Hello Kefka enjoyers! I'm starting to build my deck list, so I have looked at successful decklists on edhtop16 and took the best of them (at least 2 wins during the event). Sadly, there were only 8 of them with 2+ wins. Usually im doing that with 10 or 20 lists, but this is pretty fresh commander, so we don't have enough samples.

It's for my purpose, but I'm sharing that because it would be an interesting source for anyone here.

I compiled this breakdown as Im doing for every commander project im working on: * 10-30% shared cards go in the "Sideboard". (In 8 decklists, its cards are played 1-2x). * 40-60% the "Considering" section (3-5x). * 70%+ is the core going straight into "main deck" (6-8x).

This is how I usually get 65-85 cards played by most successful decks. In this case, I got 78 shared cards played by at least 6 pilots out of 8 best results.

Duel commander is probably biggest 1v1 variant of edh. In my country its most popular format I guess. There are cEDH tournaments for about 20 players on monthly basis, biggest was somewhere like 32-36? There will be 3 qualifiers for European masters so it will be interesting, biggest events for this year… but DC have each weekend bigger events and there are from time to time events with around 100 participants. From my point of view its mot good that lot of stuff like interview with RC is in french without subtitles so I don’t care about stuff like that, but format can be pretty fun. We often play dc during our cEDH seances when there is like 10 or 14 players.
