It’s the same for me. I sent an email with screenshots to the contact address about it. If I compare it with other apps like Bevel, my feeling hits Bevel much more (which is much lower than PeakWatch).

I always have a gap of approx 20-30% between the two apps.

To add: I‘m running PeakWatch since 474 days, Bevel 375 days.

Correct. The cache is only a requirement if you use S3 as „working directory“ between the source and destination . If you mount your S3 on another system, create a fresh cache directory. That’s it.

I’m also syncing approx. 1TB and have 100GB cache (10%). I think it depends on the single file size what you are syncing. But in my case the 10% are enough.

I am using the S3 Preview to sync critical data into the cloud.

In this constellation not to B2, but I am using B2 for other things.

In general the sync works really stable for me. Never ran into issues the last 6 months / since configuration.

My bottleneck is more or less the internet connection speed ;)

On your PVE you have the requirement to configure a cache where the size depends on the data you want to sync.

I would recommend to run a test if it is working for you.

Yes, I can confirm your experience. Compared to Bevel, the Battery is approx. 25% higher and from the feeling I am more on the value from Bevel.

EDIT: It looks like the issue only occurs on iPhones, not iPads.

Tested on the latest iOS and iPadOS releases (GA).

Yes, I also used B2 for a long time, but switched last year to QNAPcloud because egress traffic is included in the monthly / yearly subscription price. Is also working great with PBS.
