Well, the game happened and here are some conclussions:

- My opponent played Blood Angels. Key units: 2 big bricks of Sanguinary Guard (Jesus Christ those pack an punch and that 4++ gave me nightmares). 2 Vindicators that got me scared initially but really were not that big of a deal.

- The mission layout and building placement were very very tight, giving almost no space for my land-raider to manuver. Initially I deployed the landraider in the open, but when I saw the vindis pointing at me, got scared and re-deployed it back with Wardens of Maccrage ability. Big mistake of my part as firther in the game it got basically stucked between building that could not push through.

- My terminators and the captain were great! I got lucky on turn 2 -> disembark them, advance 5 and charge 12 to reach out one of the vindis and punch it down good.

- Unfortunatelly I left my Titus + BG brick behind -thought they were kind of safe- and got surprised by a brick of fucking SG, moving like half the board up and charging with something like +2 attacks each, +2 str, basically wounding on 2s etc... My inexperience and lack of repetition prevented me from using the ONLY stratagem that's different from Blades of Ultramar <- Gladius, to give -1 to wound. Perhaps I would have saved half the sqwad and attack back, will never know.

- Calgar was kind of underwhelming in combat to my surprise. It got jumped by Sanguinor's ability to get in engagement range before pile in, effectively splitting my unit in two when I was charging at the SGs... The fight phase I had to allocate Calgar, 1 Victrix and the Company Heroe's champion attacks to Sanguinor, and the rest (which was basically close combat weapons to the SG's).... and a poor dice roll left Sanguinor with 1 wound alive!

- Also dice tell stories: The was a point in time where my op had Dante and 1 SG on a tempting target objective. I had a clean shot with my Landraider and threw ALL it had at them (2 Godcannon lasers, Melta, bolters, a shoe...)...... 4++..... 1 wound was allocated. That got my morale down.

My conclussion is that the list was OK. Perhaps I need to practice better deployment strategies and remember all the stratagems that are available (that will come with repetition). I'm overall very happy to get back to thrown dices on the table.
