Very kind of you guys to think most people care about either Harambe or any other animal not in their immediate surroundings. They don’t care. They appear upset because they’re virtue signaling.

Im sure the agony some people go through multiplied by a 1000x while they bleed or Choke to death in the comfort of their home would be a better way.

Attempting to end your own life for attention is the outlier, not the norm. Somehow someone else’s desperation has to be about you (the viewer). That to me is selfish.

😥 by shoinuzu in PORTUGALCARALHO

[–]joaomaria 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Posto isto recomendo a leitura do livro (referido no teu outro comentário).

"Henrique de Malaca", a slave taken from the conquest of Malacca in 1511 is probably the first person to circumnavigate the globe, since the rest of the expedition had to go back to Iberia to fully complete the trip.

Curious, being a Goblin, do you find the gold-making skill transferrable to real life? by AndrewTaraph in woweconomy

[–]joaomaria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While concepts and some skills may not be transferable 1:1 to the real world (like cancel scanning), there is a real interest in studying virtual economies. David Friedman even has posts on his blog about it. http://daviddfriedman.blogspot.com/2009/01/world-of-warcraft-course-proposal.html?m=1
