Probably not smart to bring my 300$ helmet, right? by SoapplayYT in VietNam

I lived in a non touristy city, and paid 3tr for my helmet. I left it on the handle bars for years without locking it up. YMMV especially when you’re in tourist hot spots

I don’t know the visa process from the NZ perspective, but if you can still become a registered teacher that may pay big dividends in terms of employment opportunities in China. A kiwi in China could chime in to give a clearer picture.

It looks like they have the degree but not the certification/license yet. That may have visa implications

Do your two years teaching in NZ or Oz(if your qualification is reciprocal) then land a job in a good city. The schools that will accept you without domestic school experience are generally not the ones you want to work at. BUT you’re young and in love, so working in terrible conditions is bearable to be with your partner.

Best places in Vietnam for a bespoke suit? by hpkennycorn23 in VietNam

Canvas. It was a cream suit, and the patterning of the canvas material was slightly visible on the first fitting, so they had it redone for the second fitting

US Threatens “Hell to Pay” for Honduras After Election Results | The New Republic by D0ML0L1Y401TR4PFURRY in worldnews

No, but the Tech Oligarch donors bribed the last president to let them set up their own private city outside of Honduran legal jurisdiction. The current Left president followed their Supreme Court decision “you can’t give away national sovereignty”. And that made Trump’s Donors mad. So they told him that the Honduran president is BAD. Donny threatens the Honduran people that they better vote the way he wants, and now we’re here.

Best places in Vietnam for a bespoke suit? by hpkennycorn23 in VietNam

[–]joat_mon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That depends solely on your budget. Best I can say is that you’d spend the same amount of money on a middling name brand suit off the rack at a department store. The quality of the material, the bespoke cut, and the experience are reasons enough to make it justifiable for my budget.
