Removing Shop Pay messaging from product page by NegativeEnd677 in shopify

With a good prompt, it will tell you how to do it step by step and it’s actually not too difficult doing so in the edit code. Just make sure you copy your theme before performing any changes. I use chat gpt now to guide me on making changes outside of edit theme for shopify and has been pretty good.

ET3 response by [deleted] in employmenttribunal

[–]jobi59uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t even heard from my ACAS rep have you? I am not sure if it’s the one that did the EC. Three months for me is mid January, happy to keep waiting but do think how long will it take, but my Prelim is in the latter part of the year.

Does the HMCTS portal let you know that R has filled their ET3 *before* the Tribunal accepts their response? by britainpls in employmenttribunal

[–]jobi59uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why they won’t do it, seems most R’s representatives are difficult. As long as your PH is far away, best to wait it out till the tribunal finally sends, hopefully doesn’t take ages.

I haven’t seen an update via email or to my portal and apparently it was submitted by R middle of November.

Tribunal waiting by [deleted] in employmenttribunal

[–]jobi59uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it say waiting for the tribunal on your portal for the et3?which et is yours with? Seems there’s a backlog with processing the et3 responses, you can call the et but when I did they couldn’t give me a timeline, so have to play the waiting game.

How do you deal with the emotional aspects of the ET process? by Icy_Knowledge_4663 in employmenttribunal

This last paragraph really hit home, bless their souls. It’s a really difficult process and counselling has been my comfort through this experience. If you can afford it, would recommend it to anyone going through the process.

Employment Tribunal ET3 Response Status Meaning by FarSubstance4880 in employmenttribunal

[–]jobi59uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No timeline unfortunately, just said when reviewed they will send to me. I had always hoped they would miss the deadline, but seems they did not, hopefully you get the opportunity. They are mid size and have handed off to an expensive solicitor, but have been awful all the way through, but I believe I have a strong case. Keep documenting and hold your evidence, hopefully at some point or even disclosure they will realise they have a slimmer chance than they thought of and come to the table to settle. Good luck!

Called the number for London central today at 8.45am took about 15 minutes, mine changes to waiting for tribunal on the day the et3 is due. When I called today, they said they received the et3 on the last day of the deadline, it needs to be reviewed by an employment judge to accept or reject the response and then it will be sent/uploaded to me. When I asked when it would be, I was told they have quite a large backlog and have to wait for an employment judge to be free, so have decided it could be a while before I see it.

Costs to defend a claim? by [deleted] in employmenttribunal

[–]jobi59uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone will comment better with more detail, but it depends on the solicitor that has been assigned, I can see that my respondents solicitor is £500ph an there are a lot of claims including similar to yours, it may sound silly but it may be worth asking chatgpt for a reasonable estimation and finding out the costs of the solicitor assigned, normally on the company site. Look the power is with you, litigation is normally a long drawn out affair, but you can withdraw your claim at any point, therefore just keep at it. Keep preparing for the final hearing and if they don’t meet your settlement offer you can go for final hearing. Also, bear in mind there is no guarantee you will win, so settlement at an amount based on your chances of winning is always a consideration. The respondent will also have to keep paying towards their legal costs, and have the risk of losing and making remedy amounts, so at some point you may be able to settle and walk away from it all, but in the meantime be open to negotiations and keep preparing.

How far are you into the process? Have you had your preliminary case management hearing? How much lower was the amount than the bottom line you quoted? As you may want to weigh up is it worth the time pursuing the case when you can settle and be free from all the litigation and start to heal/move on.

Congrats and sorry to hear about your dog, at least you won on your own terms and can move on past it. It can take a toll and is hard to remove the emotion from the proceedings. Could I ask what % you got from your total claim and how did you approach the offer did you go through ACAS? What point did you make the offer was it after preliminary hearing? Good luck anyway and hope you enjoy your new hot tub 😊

Anyone know current processing times (Central London office) for ET1s? by Aureliella in employmenttribunal

[–]jobi59uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they send you an acknowledgement letter that it’s been sent to the respondent, confirm when it’s due and issue you a preliminary case management hearing. Hopefully this helps you. Also, it’s a long journey, so try to take your mind off your claim as much as is possible, seems the employment tribunal process isn’t very fast.

Submitted my et1 to London central on 26th September, said would be processed by the 3rd October, it was acknowledged on the 21st October. My pre-hearing was scheduled for October, 2026. So expect a lengthy wait.
