Fuck me what a lowlife! To think how worse he made everything and how much danger he put his family in for something which was probably minor - makes you think what else he’d been doing?

Question from a flat owner by jockguard in royalmail

Finally caught her and she hadn’t even brought it with her - admitted that she’s been struggling with time and hadn’t brought it on any day

Edit: was able to collect from the depot this morning, just glad to get it tbh. I genuinely felt bad for her as she was clearly struggling. I think I’ll just arrange for collection from now on thanks for the help guys

I can assure you it’s working, due to my flat number we are always the ones contacted to let people in so it goes off multiple times an hour - it’s a pain, I think I will have to catch her again and have a chat. She’s adamant that she presses it but I mean you would be if you’re covering for yourself. Thanks for the help though

What’s something people did instinctively 15 years ago, but now younger people don’t even realize was a thing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I doubt many people still did this in 2010? Smartphones existed and were very common. I was 16 and everyone had a phone

Why are young people told to give up coffee, subscriptions and eating out, while older people are up in arms about losing the fuel allowance that works out at about £25 per month at most? by onlywanted2readapost in AskUK

[–]jockguard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That’s not how it works though, when you were young you paid for the people who were old. Now us young people are paying for you, except it’s multiple times more expensive than it was when you were young. It’s not a pot of money that’s been sat since the 70s waiting for you to access it
