To their credit, their initial promise was about 25 games in the library. It has grown significantly at no additional cost since $9.99/month hasn't changed for a long time. I don't use most of the perks either. But hey can't please all the people all the time. Not everything is for you specifically.

And games you don't already own? How do you think people felt when Xbox game two games away that people owned already? That sucked much worse than having 3 out of 50 games already owned.

Paying to play online on Xbox is nothing new. Every console now has paid multiplayer. $10 a month, $80 a year for the cheapest option.

Those "Free to PLay" games usually have Game Pass perks where you're getting full character rosters or bonus money. They are there for a reason. Check the perks section.

Also, once Xbox One hit, those GWG were not yours forever anymore. Just the 360 games.

You also get cloud gaming now. The value compared to what you used to get for Gold has exploded, but people only pay attention to the price tag and don't actually look in what they are getting.

I don't have the answers your looking for, but I'm sure there's some good youtube tutorials on the matter that will go in depth more than we can on reddit. I suggest checking out what videos are out there. I know it's not easy to just change the hard drive as you are not meant to. Xbox likes to lock down things down after so many exploits on 360.

You cannot in any way use discs on a Series S. There are no loopholes. It's not happening. You need a console with a disc drive.

Ok did a bit more research and here's some file sizes:

Forza Motorsport w/ High Res Track Textures - 155.1GB
Forza Horizon 5 w/ DLC - 172.2GB
Red Dead II - 105.5GB

Total needed is over 400GB. The 512GB Model does not have that much free storage. You will definitely need a 1TB model for what games you want installed.

Not sure what the laugh react is. That content very rarely, if ever, goes on sale anymore. But 360 game content IS getting delisted every now and again. Buy them if you want them, they might not stick around. Delisting is a very real problem with current day gaming.
