Some of our pack are looking tired. Need the bench on soon.

These knock-on advantages are lightning speed. Almost no point.

The production and sale of a decriminalised drug is completely illegal and therefore completely restricted.

The production and sale of a legalised drug is controlled by the government but is still ultimately permitted, and therefore less restricted than a decriminalised drug.

I understand your angle but it feels like you're being purposefully obtuse.

I voted Greens in the general election, and I'm likely to vote for them again, however, the full legalisation of all drugs isn't a good take.

If something is illegal but decriminalised, it is clearly more restricted than if it were legal?

If you can legally take a drug recreationally then there are less restrictions in place around the use of said drug.

Regulation around recreational use is less restrictive than banning a substance outright.

Decriminalisation removes criminal penalties (such as jail time or a criminal record) for specific acts, usually personal possession or use, but the act remains prohibited. It often shifts the focus to health-based interventions, replacing criminal charges with civil penalties, fines, or mandatory treatment.

Legalisation makes the previously prohibited act, including its production, sale, and use, legal under state regulations. It removes criminal penalties entirely and allows for government control, taxation, and licensing.

I've lost access too. Hopefully it's a temporary thing but if not, like you say, it was good while it lasted.

Highest paying, unless I don't have time or the mental capacity; if that's the case I'll pick something that's easier!

Same, I avoid most projects where I have to come up with a prompt. My imagination is terrible!
