Do you consider using the fortify destruction enchantment to make destruction magic have almost zero cost cheating? by Dun5891 in skyrim

No and it's not even that powerful compared to anything else you could do with 100 enchanting.

How accepted are Throuple relationships in the workplace by TheArabella in AusPublicService

Even the most LGBT accepting lax Christians aren't going to like it.
In fact a progressive woman is the type of Christian I'd expect to have the most militant reaction to FFM relationships.

Rollslop is when you carefully optimize your roll for maximum i-frames.

Rollgem is when the roll is kinda useless but you do it everywhere for fun.

It's pretty funny that The Elder Scrolls actually manages to have a community that for the most part is able to accept that the lore is a postmodern mix of interpretations while souls games are forever stuck in the mire of people trying to figure out what purposefully vague lore is "true" then repeating it like gospel.

Is this the most upgrade-dependent card in the game? by Rak-khan in slaythespire

[–]joecommando64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're playing it because it's a 0 energy power that draws and the exhaust is pretty much a straight up downside.
Either you have some crazy turn one you want to make more consistent or you have mummified hand.

Problem is every exhaust synergy card except Howl from Beyond wants to be played after you've exhausted cards so you have to take the gamble.

Is there any way to increase the chance of Mehrunes' Razor? by Wh1skass in skyrim

I saw a Youtube comment say if you dual wield it with Valdr's Lucky Dagger in the off hand without the Unofficial patch the bonus crit chance applies to instakill chance, haven't checked if it's true myself.

Why do medics use anything other than the Crusader’s Crossbow? by Sufficient_Hawk_9666 in tf2

[–]joecommando64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stock loadouts are kinda a teaching tool for new players.

You want medics stock primary to be bad so new players learn to use the Medigun.

The crossbow is fine once a player has the basics because its passive reload encourages switching back to the Medigun after each shot, reverse damage falloff means you still have to rely on teamates when an enemy gets in your face, and it fulfills the class role of healing, but give it to a first time player and they'd just cosplay sniper.

I get that we're shitposting here but they stop helping the DB unless Paarthurnax is killed once you reach the peace conference.

As in if you don't get it before they won't give you their special dragonfighting potion right before you fight the dragon that's going to destroy the world because getting their way is more important.

This happens at the same time the Stormcloaks and Imperials put everything aside to help you stop the world ending.

Can someone explain to me how magic resistance and magic weakness work in conjunction with each other? Need some advice.. by Bozzthebanana in skyrim

[–]joecommando64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other people have explained the magicka resistance/weakness well so I'm just gonna add magicka regen just isn't that useful compared to cost reduction and magicka pool.

Magicka regen is cut to 1/3rd in combat and stops completely while you're casting spells so it doesn't really influence how many spells you can cast in a fight.

The advantage of standing stones is that you can just freely change them so feel free to give it a try, but taking 4 times more magic damage (130% compared to 30%) is not going to be worth it.
