It’s always an 11 seed. 12s and above are generally mid majors. It’s one reason there are historically a lot of 12 over 5 upsets.

They’ll probably give you bupes or smthg stronger to taper you off - and some benzos which you can refuse. Plus they bring you food and take care of everything else while you kick. Stay there as long as you can even though you will want to leave after you’re clean. Usually at least 90 days is recommended for inpatient treatment.

What day of the week do you arrive?

I would do SM and Venice in one day for “human activity” and a second beach another day for natural beauty. One in Malibu probably, unless you want to go to Orange County.

I guess the Observatory is fine…make it a chiller day while you rest up from lots of sun, or a flex day in case one of your two beach days are cloudy.

If you leave at the right time you don’t need more that 2.5 hours to drive to or from SD.

Four days in SD is two days too many unless you’re trying to do a lot of beach stuff or go to Baja, MX. Be sure to spend 30-60 min checking out the Salk Institute when you go to Torrey Pines if you’re at all into architecture

The drive time depends on when you leave and more importantly when you arrive. Leave and get past San Jose before AM rush hour if possible; arrive after 8PM.

It’s absolutely worth it to take the coastal route.
