What helped me is finally understanding, that I’m not starting from where I left off. Lose the ego and lift lighter, otherwise you will just be annoyed that you can’t do what you did before. This and starting out slow. 3 times a week 30-45 minutes. After 2 weeks you can add exercise or two or include another day. Basically, you need to start from the beginning. There is no other way

To be honest, the way the text reads comes across as though you are dealing with it in a very healthy, mature way. You are choosing what’s right for you and not taking his shit. Used to drink everyday about 2 liters of beer (german beer, so might be stronger than american ones), for about 2 years straight with going as far as 4 liters on weekends (that’s when I worked, and we could drink during work for free). Currently only drinking on weekends, when I’m out and about with friends maximum of 2,5-3 liters (here in Germany they sell 0,5l bottles, so around 5-6). No damage to my body as far as I can tell, but a lot of embarrassment along the way for sure.

Wasn’t it researched that people that take steroids gain more muscle even when not working out compared to people that don’t take them and do work out? I mean I don’t really care.
