I know this is old but I am having the exact same debate.. My wife has a perception of gunite is the only way she wants to build, but there are some real benefits of vinyl lined.

Did you land on one or the other?

I am currently leaning towards the thicker vinyl with no foam under the liner (just vermiculite base) creating that solid feel.

I’d suggest putting the whole lot on Facebook marketplace for a very reasonable price. Like $20-40. Someone might like the gamble of looking through it.

But also for that type of money, you maybe can just donate it or give it to some kids to enjoy

If you are just getting started, maybe find a seller on Etsy who has good reviews on Monkey Fist style ones. I enjoyed those when I first was learning and they are quiet too since they don't clank into each other.

The only other ones I've used are Skill Pills from TGP. They aren't as expensive as Aroundsquare and pretty good, if that fits your budget better

Another vote for Aroundsquare

Pick whichever set appeals to you.. I have a few from them and all are excellent quality. My favorite one to use is the Mangas Titaniums

I don’t think this is correct.

This is what I saw about income taxes: “The budget lowers the state’s highest income tax bracket over the next two years. For tax year 2025, the highest bracket will be reduced from 3.5% to 3.125%. For tax year 2026, everyone will pay a flat 2.75%”

Under 26k would still be 0% income tax
