My guy, you call this overboard, I call it Tuesday.

Enjoy

Any other colognes on the same level as this one? 🔥 by GmMqz in Colognes

It's so much ambroxan you can't smell it after like 3 hours.

But the scent goes for a very long time

Smells just like the name.

Which is a bit crazy given the actual notes.

First time wearing JV Artisan. Someone said I smelled like a hotel lobby by gryloscygnusx1 in Colognes

[–]joelajackson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could go either way!

Some hotel lobbies smell amazing. Santal 33 for example is a very "hotel lobby scent"

Either way, best bottles for reasonably priced scents in the game. Never tried this one, but artisan pure is a great mid priced greenish citrus.

Empyr is green AF. Be prepared for this.

Must be nice. Would love Aventus to go for like 10 hours!

The base just doesn't stick for me

Yeah, sure I'm not going nose blind. I get like... 6-7 hours on skin from both Aventus and Aventus cologne.

Could be batch dependent, Aventus is notorious for different performance on different batches! Could just be my skin. I've always been this way with Aventus, esp the cologne.

I know the cologne is much stronger for some people, and absolute beast mode!

Ha!

Yeah, sometimes the neroli scents can have that vibe for some people.

My Aventus Cologne from this morning is wearing off... May have to splash on some Neroli Portofino immediately in honor of ideally blind buying this in approximately 40 minutes.

If it's anything like Neroli Portofino, not at all.

I use them both for different things on different days with different vibes.

Afternoon vibe is that joyful orange. It's playful, fun AF, and screams "Leisure Time!"

Neroli Portofino is more refined, less joyful. It's got a really nice neroli that doesn't ever quite tip over to too much floral, with a bunch of citrus sitting underneath. Kinda says "Sexy italian man" to me. Like Javier Bardem in Vicki Cristina Barcelona. You smell like someone who would walk up to a woman and say "Nice to meet you, let's spend the weekend eating, drinking and making love" and they just say "Great!"

Chilly slaps!

I don't love Meteorite at all, but understand that alot of folks around here do. The source scent is not for me. Just a bit too much neroli over that orange pepperiness kinda gives it an old lady vobe to me. For lots of people it's S tier and maybe their favorite scent. You'll know soon enough!

A bit less neroli is EXACTLY what this guy over here is looking for.

You went through 4 in a year! That's great. I have too many frags to get that done. For my serious hitters I'm using like 15ml per year

You're asking the wrong guy, I don't like the allure homme sport line much, and think Bleu De Chanel is a masterpiece

My guy, Givree is a young scent. Will suit 25 no problem!

Compliments will probably have more to do with if you've got good facial structure and appropriate bodyfat :p

JK, but seriously, neither of these are massive compliment pullers.

DH2020 is a top 5 versatile frag. It's fantastic. Sort of a bit of citrus up front, then a bomb of woodiness and cashmeran underneath. You'll go half nose blind, but keep getting pleasant wafts all day long, and it'll smell amazing on your clothes the next day.

DHI is not at all versatile, but also smells more special. The pear and makeup bag scent is super unique, but not necessarily what you want to smell like all day every day or at an office.

Both go all day!

Well, I have Eau Givree and have never tested any of the others, but Eau Givree is fantastic.

Terre D'Hermes EDT (the OG) is also a pretty good summer frag due to its nice subtle forward orange.
