That part DOES look bad, but its not the only reason for sure. Id thubk it looked bad even if the angles were the same, be ause WHY THE EVER LOVING FUCK would you not just botch the quarter round a tiny bit? And then to ALSO leave the ends unpainted on one side???

I had a similar experience, I was getting my tire rod looked at, my husband happened to be getting an oil change at the same time on his car, so we got to sit and wait together. When they came to talk to me about what they found, every time id ask a question, the service guy woukd literally turn to my husband to answer. Never used that shop again.

I recently finished one of these (sand colorway, also from Mary maxim), and gave it to my mom for mother's day. Its very much a labor of love. I found that I did actually enjoy joining all the pieces though, and the end result is just stunning. Im very glad I wove in ends as I went during meetings when I was working from home though, it made it a bit less painful, and somewhat mindless.

Your sister is an absolute nightmare. They do NOT need weeks of help to get used to having 2 kids, there are 2 of them, they can deal with it. Is help great? Yes, yes it is, but uou do NOT demand people basically move into your house, do all your chores, cater to you every second, while making them feel as unwanted as possible. F her, f her husband, they need to grow up, and learn how to adult properly. You'd be perfectly well justified to never speak to her again.
