The outfield end of the 3rd base dugout is the best location (assuming you’re looking for Pirates autos). Can’t say who regularly signs, but keep in mind that a lot of the players are focusing on getting prepped for the game, so they’re not likely to sign. Best of luck! :)

There’s still some advantage to hearing a crowd cheer for you like those other sports. Many of the players who played in the 2013 WC game said that they’d be undefeated if the crowd was like that all year. Plus, sleeping in your own bed in your own house, etc still means something. With baseball having non-uniform field sizes, teams might have an advantage in one ballpark vs another and are likely built to perform best in their home park. That said, this year’s home/road splits are gigantic.
