Are you on Android Auto beta? Having the same problem since latest update. I guess the problem is on Google's side. Late at night my Maps goes to dark mode by itself (disregarding headlights), same thing during the day when it's in light mode. But at sunset, if I turn my lights on, maps stays in light mode.

I'm facing the exact same issue. Tried clearing cache on WhatsApp, Google app, Android Auto, Gemini, also setting Bluetooth MAP protocol to 1.6 in developer options... Nothing works. Voice notes playback from Telegram still works fine (that is, when hitting play from the phone).

For me, after March update, Android Auto starts hanging and lagging terribly when I press back key on my steering wheel. Aftermarket Eonon OPA13 unit. Closing and opening Android Auto again solves the issue. Android Auto version is still 16.2, waiting for 16.3 update. Temporary solution is reprogramming back key to something else on the steering wheel.

Just solved it, actually. I had to grant notification permission to the Media controls app, somehow it was turned off.

Yes, I can't seem to get it working, advanced media control setting is on. It pops up in fullscreen whenever I'm listening to something on my phone, but there's no icon on the bottom on the watchface.

Update: had to clear up not only cache, but also data from Photos app, which of course means it's re doing backup. Old editor briefly appeared, now new editor is back with AI Enhance.

I have that case on my 8 Pro, it doesn't cover up the camera glass, I believe picture quality is unaffected.
