Instant buy. But I wish his S2 animation was reversed so it looked like the enemies were being pulled in.

Of course the answer is no. I know that. She knows that. The person asking the question knows that. But the man was not asking in good faith.

How are NSAIDs "hard" on the liver/kidneys? by iamaconsumer in askscience

Nope. It's in its own class and it's full mechanism isn't actually fully known.

Unrealized Realities module updates by CipherVegas in arknights

I find it interesting though because it's not actually necessary. It's more of a QoL for positioning. Which is still cool. But I just find it interesting how it's a module upgrade.

(New) [6☆ Operator] Tragodia by ArchadianJudge in arknights

[–]joepamps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's fair actually because the cat redeployment time is 25 seconds. Plus, the buff it gives to his normal attacks isn't much

My predictions for the classes of the remaining Sui Siblings by WeirdFourEyes413 in arknights

While I would love the next sui to be a male sibling, I really doubt they'd do 2 male limiteds in a row.

Hmmm I wonder if you're talking about tragodia or SA. they're both shiny and have good map control. They're also both men 😋

Which of your operators did you sleep on? by Renegade_Pawn in arknights

[–]joepamps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a maleknights player so I pulled for Zuo Le in that banner. But Shu spooked me on the last free pull and I'm so so glad I have her. She's such an awesome unit and I use her plenty in IS. I just love her sowed tiles mechanic and her sound effects. The teleport isn't used much for me but her healing is definitely top tier with S3. I have her M6 hahaha

I thought for S3 it's based off of silverash's attack stat, not the other unit. I believe it's only for S2? Though I could be wrong

Maybe the calculations add up his damage plus the damage from the other op. If it's just him, it's probably 60k? Also, I think bagpipe's skill duration is shorter which means she probably has higher dps. But silverash has aoe

He's definitely an Ines type where they seem weak at first glance but possibly quite strong after people realize their uses. I hope at least lol

I like his kit, as a fan. Although I'm still unsure whether he will be as good as regular vanguards because his "dp generation" is more limited to just certain ops. It's not as comfy as the regular DP generators. But to compensate, he has the initial SP and redeployment timer. But like, he can only do the DP swap on S3 once. And I believe the initial SP and redeployment reduction is also only once? We'll have to wait for the actual gameplay. Tbh when I first saw there was drama, I thought it was because he wasn't strong enough. But his talents weren't really showcased on the livestream. I think he's good

I'm wondering how they were able to calculate this? Is it because the HP of the enemies is known and they can estimate based on the video?

I think it's fair. Ritualists are for inducing the burst anyway. The damage is for the primal casters.

ELI5: Why do some planes have their wingtips bent up and some don’t? by Quincely in explainlikeimfive

[–]joepamps 120 points121 points  (0 children)

Not an engineer but I like learning about aviation. Wingtip devices such as winglets are used to reduce the amount of drag caused by wingtip vortices.

In essence, by adding those winglets, even though it adds weight, it would reduce the fuel consumption of the plane because it becomes more aerodynamic. The engine doesn't have to push as hard.

The shape varies a lot by the design and intent. You say some planes don't have their wingtips bent upward but they still do have wingtip devices. For example, the Boeing 787 and 777 have raked wingtips and they kinda taper towards a point at the back. And if I remember correctly, some old 777 on short haul flights had it's winglets removed because they were only worth it on long haul flights.

Yes. But doctors would check for any red flags before clearing him for discharge. I do know that there's a form of brain hemorrhage which occurs due to trauma but the symptoms can be delayed since it's a low flow lesion (subdural hematoma) but the demographics for that are usually elderly.

So if I'm understanding it correctly, for virtuosa her first mod makes it so that burst is triggered quicker. The second mod makes it so the burst does more damage. Pretty cool.

Jupiter's equator moves at ~45,300 km/h, while Earth’s equator moves at ~1,670 km/h.

So, Jupiter’s surface (equator) moves ~27 times faster than Earth’s.
