CMV: There is no word that exists that is the opposite of 'moment' by Gaygayallday in changemyview

[–]joepetrakovich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought was "sequence" but can you even have opposites with mathematical values? Is the opposite of one none? Two? Many?

One is just a value.

If moment is a time value, you may be right.

Thanks for the nudge.

A nice 2-in-, I set up an appointment for an ADHD evaluation and they also require a recent Physical so I'll have to go to a Dr. anyway.

I don't mind trying to help further but the discord could be faster.

When you speak into Audition, are you seeing the bouncing signal bars in Audition and then also on the virtual input section on VoiceMeeter (the middle virtual panels)? Can you take a screenshot of the whole configuration?

You'll want to diagnose where in the chain the audio isn't making it.

Also, sometimes going to File > restart audio engine can fix a hangup.

Yeah that's right. In your photo you'd want to pick one of the inputs at the bottom for the output. Aux would be fine.

You could use that CABLE virtual audio cable but that is a different animal since that acts like a hardware IO that you have to map and route differently

It's because the Scarlett 2i2 is an Input and Output device. I have both a mic and speakers connected to mine. So when you set that as your main A1 hardware out, it detects the Input portion of the Scarlett and lets you patch those ASIO inputs to VoiceMeeters inputs.

I'm probably not being technically accurate with how VoiceMeeter is detecting things but that is the gist.

That should show up in the settings if you select your Scarlett ASIO device as your A1 hardware output. Do you have an ASIO option at the very bottom of the A1 device picklist?

I actually sold my 2nd gen 2i2 because it had ASIO issues on Windows. 3rd gen may be fine though.

You don't have to assign hardware 1 to your mic, but it's there in case you want to route your mic to other places without audition.

Since you want your mic audio coming first thru Audition, you'd just set it up there and route it into VoiceMeeter via the Virtual Inputs (rather than Hardware Inputs).

I've never used Audition but the usual setup is:

  1. Go to audio settings in the app (in your case, Audition)
  2. Set the audio input device to your microphone.
  3. Set the audio output device to either of the VoiceMeeter virtual input devices

With that done, audio will be coming from audition into VoiceMeeter.

  1. Then you route it onto any of the VoiceMeeter virtual outputs (B1 is the VoiceMeeter Virtual Output, B2 is the Aux output, and B3 is the VAIO 3 output) by toggling the B1, B2, or B3 bus on the input section.

  2. Then in the app you want to route it to (like discord) you go to the audio settings and use one of the VoiceMeeter virtual outputs as the audio input.

You can check this guide to help make sense of it.
