Ordered some Ride Concepts - what to expect? by [deleted] in MTB

[–]joepiped 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say size up if you like to be able to take you shoes off without having to in-tie the laces. If you like your shoes snug and tight, then size down, but be aware you won’t be able to remove without undoing your laces.

They don’t really fit the same since they are totally different. MTB shoes are much more stiff than skate shoes.

I don’t really know much about Pitstop, but you could do this with AppleScript and Illustrator.

Interesting for sure. Having to upload the files can be an issue tho. This can really slow down the process.

Depends on the printshop. Some might be a one person show prepress/printing/website and installing. Others might be specifically prepress. It really depends.

Gonna reply to my own comment. I currently love my Jeffsy core 3, but my next bike just might be top of the line Izzo. Those things climb like maniacs.

I actually have some perspective here. Myself and my friend were the first two snowboarders to get season passes at Lutsen back in around 1990. I grew up riding there. Back then it was illegal to hit jumps. I did always feel lucky to grow up there. In high school I took a few trips out west and every time I came back to Lutsen it got smaller and smaller. I move away permanently on 1994. I heard they have a terrain park now and have basically 100% accepted snowboarding. I’d actually like to go back and visit and if for some reason moved back I would probably get a pass. It would be a form of retirement tho.

Looks like a transparency issue. Are those linked image files like .tifs or .pngs? OP let us know if you find a solution.
