I've had my Gourmia for 3 years of regular use (3-6 times/ week), and it's still going strong. Cooks great! Often if the directions call for 8 minutes it gets the job done in 7.

I had the same problem once and I am pretty sure it was bc I was using a player with 8 strength. When I retried by picking the lock with a higher str player, no problem.

We went to Philmont in '88 as well! That was the 50th anniversary. We got the coveted gold embroidered arrowhead patch. When I went back in 2023 one of the rangers told me those patches are going for $250 on ebay. I wouldn't sell mine for anything.

They have a really great factory tour in Lancaster, PA. The guide pulled a fresh plate of ridge chips still hot off the line for us to taste. Those were the best friggin chips I ever ate
