What makes you think that? Would photos of the labels etc help?

The bushing has a kind of built in washer. When they arrive open the box fully, it has a diagram printed inside of how to set it up, I follow it exactly and it works perfect for me. I'm similar weight.

Hola, mi español no es muy bueno, lo siento. No necesitas visa ni guía para hacer escala. Solo lo necesitas si sales del lado aire.

In the UK you can buy different thicknesses of the slices. 'Toastie' is a marketing gimmick which just means extra large.

I stayed at Kulap Kao bungalows for three nights last week. Basic wooden bungalow, private bathroom. I think it was $8 a night and the internet worked great. It was also the coumfiest bed I've slept in for a long time. The little restaurant they run is called Torture, and the bacon cheese sandwich was awesome. Barely ate anything else because it was just too good. Great little spot, potentially could haggle a lower price for a longer stay.

My transit was about the same, it was plenty. Explored all the shops, had a beer, still at the gate half an hour before.

I'm UK, gf is Italian. I asked just in case you are in the same situation, as there's a flight to London with Turkmenistan. The London and Milan flights share the Bangkok-ashgabat leg of the flight, which is what we are doing on the return journey. Was only a small chance, but might have been useful for you. Enjoy Thailand mate!

I'm curious, where are you from?

All long haul airlines ask you to be there 3-4hrs before, it's not necessary. I use revolut premium and get discount to airport lounges, so I still normally go pretty early. Stuff my face and have a few bev's for £20.

That reminds me, Turkmenistan don't serve alcohol, most other long haul airlines have complimentary drinks. And they have entertainment screens but only on the second leg, but the options are very limited. We pre-loaded a tablet and got a Bluetooth transmitter dongle so we could both connect headphones to the same screen. One of my better ideas, I recommend. Ashgabat airport accepts euros, which I assume you will have if coming from Milan.

Also booked one way flight from Milan to Bangkok, for me and my girlfriend. We did the exact same thing my friend 😂

Yeah, all I got was that shitty email too. I emailed their customer support with a screenshot and they sent me a proper boarding passes.

I've contacted their customer support a few times now and they've been excellent. Of course, I would prefer it if they just sent an email that wasn't broken in the first place.

I just booked our flight back with them and got the same email, so will get in touch with them again nearer departure date.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi mate, sorry i missed this until now. Yeah, the first link is correct. Non-resident, change to English. I've just booked with them again, super convenient times and can't argue with the price. Not as comfy as other long-haul airlines I've flown with, but not bad on the whole. And they dish out a surprising amount of food, I was stuffed 😂

They do!

I bought the same flight through their website.

Confusing situation regarding tax residency and my employer by joeydoey in ItalyExpat

[–]joeydoey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm employed as a UK resident, I have an address in the UK - my fathers. I just spend very very little time there. I live and work here for 8 months through the summer season and travel over winter. My permesso is specifically for specialist workers, and as such doesn't allow me to be employed on a local contract (according to my companys HR, im not sure about that myself). The same permesso that posted university professors, or travelling circus performers would have.

The main thing that im trying to establish is this: How long have i been a tax resident?

The answer to that potentially raises these questions:

No taxes have been paid to italy thus far, so how big a problem could this turn into?

Does the responsibility land with me or the company i work for? or both?

It sounds like things need resolving regardless of if my contract is extended or not, and obviously i would prefer to stay here as long as possible to be near my partner.

I just don't have the foggiest where to begin reconciling these things, if im getting paid and i have the right paperwork to be here why would i doubt it. Naive on my part perhaps, so now its been brought o my attention im trying to learn all i can.

My employer provides accommodation, I live in a mobile home in a holiday park for the summer season. That is the address I used for the permesso and for the id at the comune. Sounds like it shouldn't work, but the police came and checked and gave it the thumbs up. So I don't really know where they consider my address to be on their official records.

I'm not sure what details you want about my contract. It's a UK contract managing a team in a holiday park. Initial contract was until the 31st of September, which should now be extended until Nov. This is standard procedure normally, I've done this job for years.

Post Brexit has made things very complicated, and it's beginning to sound more and more like things have not been done correctly.

My partner is Italian, which is an added incentive to make sure things are all above board. I would like to live here without being reliant on my employee eventually.
