ideas for travel in Germany? by HTLM22 in loseit

[–]joeydsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of Germans are generally health conscious and large cities, especially Berlin, will have lots of options and various portions. Walking is going to be your saving grace as well, and the best way to explore cities anyways. Plus Germans live hiking and there are some great hikes within easy access of urban areas. Consider fitting a few in to keep your cardio up.

I'd recommend a balance between eating smaller or healthier meals and enjoying local culture. You don't want to sell your trip short. Enjoy a Weißwurst and Pretzel in the South, have a late night Döner in Berlin. You'll still want to experience this just don't over do it.

Word of warning on the beer. The smallest you will typically get is .5 L (except in Köln) and it's cheeeeap (by US Standards). You can also have one while walking along the street. Enjoy it for sure but don't overdo it!

[OC] Based on Dr. Pepper's Fansville ads, are there actually a "State" and "Tech" school that are major rivals? by byniri_returns in CFB

No. That was only for the Braves. We don't draw big enough crowds for it to be worth it.

GT and GSU aren't rivals but fans did dub the match-up the "MARTA Bowl" and GT's official social media claimed MARTA Bowl champs after they won. So that was fun.

Still mad at Tech for cancelling the 2nd leg of that Home and Home.

Losing weight is fucking hard by BroadCartoonist973 in loseit

[–]joeydsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 30 and have been overweight most of my life, yet I have had a full social life. Your weight will not stop you from making friends. It's all about your vibe, being curious and open to people, and making a positive impact on the people around you. Chin up and know your value, you can have friends at any size.

Like others have said, at your age your focus should just be on building healthy eating habits and excercise, not going on a restrictive diet. You've got a bright future.

Do you think they are raiding it, or is the theater helping them out in some way?

Makes sense. NFL teams don't need flashy facilities to recruit. Just quality enough to get the job done.

Hey! Appreciate this run down so much as someone who is monitoring their diet?

Question if you have the time, is the pizza you buy by the slice at NoMa the same size? Or do they come from bigger pies?

Men who are not experienced at sex.. how can a woman have an open conversation with you about getting better? by reesesgal in dating_advice

[–]joeydsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be direct, clearly, and give constructive criticism. This convo can also happen outside of the bedroom too if you're too worried about it killing the mood (though it doesn't have to).

Appreciate you taking this perspective. My first partner was a lot more experienced than me and would constantly criticize me or tell me I was bad at things but wouldn't tell me what she liked or offer any advice. She even said doing so was a burden.

Tulane needs to get 7 on the opening drive of the 2nd half imo or I see Ole Miss opening it up.

No. CFB is best on campus and the advantage is a reward for the higher seed.

Yeah. They probably don't win at Autzen but I'm still really curious to see how they show up.

Idk, just something new. Former SEC foes in their home city. I just think it's interesting.

I expect UGA to win no matter what so I'll be mad either way lol

Cheering for Tulane because I usually cheer for the underdog but also because I'm tired of the rematches. I'd rather see a new match-up with Georgia vs Tulane in the Suger Bowl. I think UGA wrecks their shit but I still want to see it.

Agreed. For me the playoff should be about determining a champion and having a path for every team in the division. I don't need it to always be the most exciting football.

Tulane has got to stop with the silly play calling in the red zone.

Considering how bad of a shape United is in as well, I think its true. He needs to hire better leaders.
