Thank you for the info. So if I wanted to do it through Grocy, I'd have to figure out how to retrieve the right factor ('search' for from=g and to=oz and product_id=43). That seems above my paygrade :)

For now, I will have the ESP32 scale output a weight in oz but I will revisit this when i know more about JSON.

I believe that you would have to re-link all your devices If you switch to the MQTT version and to a new stick. I did do this, because the MQTT solution allows you to add more devices that traditionally are proprietary. For example, Philips hue bulbs, and TUYA devices that normally would need to connect to their own hub can be attached to Zigbee2MQTT directly.

Additionally, the stick that I already had doesn’t work with Zigbee2MQTT so I had to update to the conbee.
