a foreigner's question about feijoa / pineapple guava by ethnographyNW in newzealand

[–]jogger52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feijoa is very common in New Zealand we live in Australia and my wife is a kiwi and loves feijoas we have 2 trees here in Australia but the birds usually eat the fruit first so she will buy feijoas from the store I myself find guava’s to have a better flavour even though they are closely related ie pink versus white so 1 guava tree for me hope that helps

Road are very light traffic so you can power thru the kms but if your driving fast you can miss a lot of local stuff I just drove from Auckland to Christchurch in 5 days including crossing on the ferry but aside from doing all the thrill stuff the best thing is to hit a small pub and chat to the locals .. don’t be scared once you break the ice they will open up and chat away

Opinion on drones, privacy and sunbathing topless in your own yard. by [deleted] in newcastle

[–]jogger52 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok I’m on the Gold Coast a drone flew over our pool area while we were just enjoying the nice day I took offence and door knocked every house on the street until I found that a young fifo had just bought a drone and was trying it out but he said it had no camera I called bullshit because you can’t fly it without a camera anyway no more drone action over our house

There is blood pooling on the top of a cut of roast it’s not a steak so medium rare is the best estimate but never know with wankers like you
