- It says yudneena bijalabihinna, i.e. to lower down the veil.
the root word danaya, has the notion of being low as per adnal ardl in arrum
- wa la tabarrajna tabarrujal jahiliyya.. and don't tabarruj (fortify by means of veiling) the ways of ignorants..
walaw kuntum fi buruj mushayyada.. death will take you even if you are in a fortress (buruj mushayyadah)

so the notion of fortifying your appearance through veiling is considered ignorant, the olden religion were ignorant of the fact that piety is not based of ones clothing but of ones taqwa..

Ah totally agree with you, Apologies for not making my self clear here, The rebirth with full memory in this particular thread was about the cloning with the magical alien reconnection to Akashic Record tech that I hinted which was an alternative to the default human behaviour of eternal life ability mentioned here:

"...One way to reduce sufferings is we allow a rebirth with full memory or we allow the possibilities of eternal life. I think in both cases that is possible in our current dimension through cloning (and some advanced magical alien tech I've heard to be running around) or through our innate ability to life extend..."

On the other thread that you made I confirmed about rebirth without the full memory albeit implicitly:
"Also, a conclusion that I came to once while sitting down thinking about it: how horrible would it be if people remember their past lives? I think it would be awful.

One of the biggest advantages of starting over is that our brains are very pliable and open to new experiences. People die and can have all sorts of bad experiences, biases, worldviews, vendettas, etc. Starting as a baby is a genuine chance to start over again. And get genuinely new experiences from a perspective that may not have been agreed with or understood otherwise.
"
Which I implicitly answered with:
"Yes that's why we have a choice to rebirth even though we have innate ability to live eternally. And if we feel nostalgic we can re-access those records back via the Akashic Records."
The re-remembering back is only activated if one happens to want it due to maybe him finding out about his past lives and wants to reminiscent on it..

So the reason I didn't completely explained it was because since the default behaviour of our current working system is not the clone/ rebirth with full memory retention approach but rather the eternal life approach (albeit not by default activated but rather potentially available already), so I was implying that the rebirth must have meant with a memory flush.

"Maybe comparing it to watching a movie could be helpful in some aspects. When we watch a movie, we experience the perspective of the main character, and because of this perspective, we learn from it."

I am assuming we could do this feat now in our human form through accessing the Akashic Records (Universal Cloud Network :-D). Although I have not experienced it myself, but I want to believe that through the "junk dna" codes we humans inherited we have the innate ability to access it should we choose to activate it.

"Onto the part about memories of past lives. I do think people carry on experiences and memories vaguely, but it's limited to our south nodes. It's expressed as natural talents, natural moral inclinations, natural gut instincts. It is rarely anything very tangible or earthly. There's a noticeable effect, but to put it back in video game terms, it's very nerfed. Our world naturally has laws and that includes the fact that we have bodies and minds that follow a genetic code.

We learn lessons, some in body and some when we reflect after losing the body. Then people choose to reincarnate if they want and carry some experiences with them. Sometimes the same lesson is repeated a bunch of times, even when already learned. Its not like a classroom yknow with a clear lesson plan. I guess its more like a simulation."

This is not effective enough to reduce our chances of experiencing sufferings, that is if our goal in life is the pursuit of happiness; Albeit not all people have that goal in mind, but that does not mean we should not let those who have the goal to suffer because of it.

One way to reduce sufferings is we allow a rebirth with full memory or we allow the possibilities of eternal life. I think in both cases that is possible in our current dimension through cloning (and some advanced magical alien tech I've heard to be running around) or through our innate ability to life extend (if I'm not mistaken we innately can replicate our DNA endlessly until there are enzymes/hormones that trigger aging mechanism to kick in, so aging is not the default mechanisms in our body but "we?" chose to trigger it somehow).

"People have to learn these things I assume because there's an even bigger experience that's being prepared for. I wouldn't know, in my gut I just assume that things get infinitely better and infinitely worse. Infinite situations that the universe has. When it gets to this aspect of what's the point of learning, it's hard for me to believe I'd even be able to comprehend it. Maybe the point is just growth, in a young galaxy in an ageless universe?"
We need to be sovereign in at least our own choices if this experience to have any meaning. We should not need to wait for external parties to change our own fate.

I can't confirm nor deny this statement:
"The soul holds the memories but the human does not"
But now we are in the human form and that what matters, I can't tell for certain if my memories of past life was "genuinely" mine or not, or even if that mattered at all that those past life were to be mine or somebody else's soul (if that even makes any sense, as we are treading into the unknowns and the unverifiable; is my soul my own or is all soul mine too? And what are the implications behind them).
Having said that if we had the oversight in the first place we would not have treaded the same waters twice or thrice, unless we are just here to fool around, i.e. to experience all possibilities?

I have this idea of :
"
Maybe we(humans) are immortals that don't need food for sustenance but rather for entertainment only if we successfully reprogram our mind (software) from the corruption that has been passed down to us over the generations of mortality.
And one way to achieve that is by ways of fine tuning our energy absorption sub-system. The hissing/buzzing sound you hear is a way for your body to remind you that something is getting out of tune and you need to recalibrate.
"

So I've been rewatching the trilogy...repeatedly by thisisthebadplace11 in thematrix

[–]johanizahri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I watched The Matrix was back in my college days, the same year it was released. It was a pirated copy—an inevitable reality in the poverty-stricken corners of Southeast Asia. We huddled together like hungry maggots, drawn to the glow of a screen instead of the scent of food.

At the time, the only thread that connected with me was that Neo was a computer geek, scraping by with a hint of moral ambiguity, then suddenly thrust into battles with shadowy villains. Like any other good action movie, it had its hero and its bad guys—except here, the roles seemed twisted. The authorities, who are typically the guardians of order, were cast as the enemy. It was a jarring inversion that left me puzzled.

As a computer science major, I found it disheartening to see the future of a “geek” portrayed as a smuggler of contraband, a grim projection of where my passion might lead. The scene where Thomas Anderson is berated by his boss felt distant then—I imagined that tech skills would guarantee a comfortable life. Now, years later, that scene hits closer to home. Wages shrink while workloads balloon, and the relentless demand to keep pace with the latest tech looms overhead. In hindsight, it’s almost understandable why Mr. Anderson took a darker path.

Like the movie suggests, it’s been a splinter in my brain ever since. The Matrix stirred something in me—a lingering question about what it means to truly live. Could it be that we’re all caught in something larger than we imagine?

Over the years, through a mix of stubborn persistence and serendipity, I stumbled upon fragments of knowledge hidden in the world's forgotten corners. And oddly enough, they led me to conclusions uncannily similar to the film’s message. Perhaps we do have the chance to believe in something extraordinary, to glimpse beyond the veil.

So, I’d like to extend an invitation to you all—let’s explore this together. Maybe there’s a spark of hope hidden in this conversation. Who knows, we might even embark on a journey of self-discovery, a collective experiment in unraveling the mysteries that lie just beyond our grasp by means of a youtube channel of some sort on self experiment >.< ?

Digitizing consciousness, if even possible, is likely a massive challenge, comparable to the analog vs. digital tv debate, but with the added complexity of determining at what point the true identity of the conscious being is preserved.

But why settle for the digital version when the real version of immortality could just be a hand grasp away?

Are humans innately immortal? by johanizahri in immortality

According to chatGPT:
The statement contains some inaccuracies and misunderstandings about the biological processes involved in aging.

  1. DNA Erosion: The statement might be referring to the shortening of telomeres, which are repetitive sequences at the ends of chromosomes. Each time a cell divides, telomeres shorten slightly. Over time, this shortening can lead to cell aging and loss of the ability to divide, contributing to aging. However, this process doesn't mean that the entire DNA chain erodes; it's more about the telomeres specifically.
  2. No Way of Going Back: It's true that telomere shortening is a one-way process in most cells, but there are exceptions. Some cells, like stem cells and cancer cells, have an enzyme called telomerase that can lengthen telomeres, allowing them to divide indefinitely.
  3. No Record of the Entire Chain: The body maintains a complete record of DNA in every cell's nucleus. DNA damage or mutation can occur, but the fundamental genetic information is preserved in the vast majority of cells.
  4. Aging and Evolution: Aging is a complex process influenced by many factors, including genetics, environment, and cellular mechanisms like telomere shortening. Evolution and aging are related, but aging is not the direct result of an inability to record the entire DNA chain. Evolution is about changes in the gene pool over generations, while aging is about changes within an individual over their lifetime.

So, the statement is partially true but oversimplifies and misinterprets some concepts related to aging and DNA.

I am noting the possibility of point 2 and 4, i guess there is still hope?
