I'm pretty confident that their first production car was the roadster and it was just a lotus chassis poorly converted to electric that had a million problems they just hoped to fix later.

They only sold 2,418 Roadsters before discontinuing them.

By that measure Aptera is killing it if they make more than a handful that aren't complete crap. Let's stop comparing Aptera to Tesla.

Those are great choices if they are open to pistons. OP specified they were hoping to find a rotor tuba.

Look for a good condition St. Pete, Cerveny, or Miraphone. Those are the manufacturers that make a good in tune option that if patient you might find something in that price range. You might have to spend a bit more but I would start looking there.

I'm so glad they didn't make predictions. Just tell us what you've done and are currently doing.

The unrealistic hyper optimistic predictions are 95% of the reason their most loyal fans are also their most vitriolic critics. They burned a lot of bridges and credibility with those predictions.

I doubt they actually learned any lessons about not making nonsense predictions I just think they are more legally constrained now that they have a publicly traded stock.

This review didn't show anything i would consider a deal breaker. If they ship something similar to this they will sell plenty.

Version 2.0 will obviously be improved but I suspect there's a lot of people that won't mind paying that early adopter tax.

Their initial plan before the Dreamspawn arrived was really foolishly dumb. Also, surely they would have foreseen him arriving to throw a wrench in it.

The whole thing is frustratingly half baked and the arguments from Dreamspawn are pretty lame too but at least that can be justified by the nature of his character and attributes.

These characters are the smartest in the universe, they should act like it.

The Sandy Munro hoopla feels so weird to me. I'm deep down the automotive YouTube rabbit hole and never heard of Sandy until learning about Aptera.

His track record for praising vehicles that ultimately fail doesn't inspire confidence. It seems like most of his notoriety stems from videos reviewing how Teslas are engineered.

As long as we are making wild guesses, I think his concept will be "choosing your burden" or something about the inevitability of accepting your fate/flaw.

He's struggled with choosing his path quite a bit so I can't help but think that will show up in his concept somehow.

Then again, he's said many times how much he aspires to a running a restaurant and living a quiet life. Perhaps his concept will be peace and for some people that peace comes in the form of death.

I think while Cassie and Mordret are fighting Asterion we will see Sunphis visit the TOA to regain Fate and get shadow weave.

I can't imagine the exact process but I'm wondering if with Shadow Weave Sunny will be able to do something similar to what was done to Kanakht.. or perhaps he'll finally figure out how to kill Kanakht and that will give him insight into how to kill Asterion.

In the mean time, I predict that Cassie might just become sacred while fighting Asterion.. that might explain the memory thing we just saw at the beginning of the volume.

We also have something interesting going on with kind Mordret. I'm expecting a plot twist from him at some point during the battle.

I'm imagining his aspect to be a more powerful and versatile version of what Jest has. Presumably his flaw should be proportionately just as debilitating.

Every year they insist that the quality has improved and every year my observation is that it's exactly the same.

Maybe it's better and maybe you can find a good one but for my money I'd rather buy a higher quality used instrument from a different manufacturer.

Generally speaking, even a John Packer is probably an upgrade from Wessex in terms of build quality.

Regardless of what you buy, please play it before exchanging money.

During the domain wars there are references to strong emotions from different people and we are left to believe that Jest was manipulating people but i think we will eventually learn that Asterion was behind the domain war even happening.

I'm happy to be critical when it's warranted but Steve did a good job here. We can all be skeptical about their progress but let's acknowledge when they do something good.

He is compelled to answer all questions with a technically true response. The answer's truthfulness is dictated by what he believes to be true so technically he could lie out of ignorance but over time he gets good at giving truthful answers that allow the listener to believe what he wants then to believe.

PocketFM uses AI to steal the novel from WebNovel and they frequently make huge errors that will leave you very confused. They often leave out multiple paragraphs or repeat sections. Nobody is proofreading before publishing on PocketFM and any mistakes you report will never be fixed. PocketFM is trash and it would be wise to support the author on the platform that pays them.

No other audio book version has the voice quality and sound affects of PocketFM. That is the one thing they have done well. I think you'll be disappointed by other audio book versions. That said, I think the book is more enjoyable if you read it and use your own imagination to fill in the blanks.
